The Stanley Cup Goes Clubbing in Hollywood

6/15/2010 8:20 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

It's not often a 117-year-old icon hits the club scene -- but last night Lord Stanley's Cup cruised over to Hollywood for a night of mayhem with Chicago Blackhawks star Patrick Kane.

The Stanley Cup
The Cup was the ultimate wingman, as the 21-year-old NHL star -- who scored the winning goal in the Stanley Cup finals -- hoisted it over his head on his way into Industry nightclub.

We asked Kane if he was gonna score chicks with the Cup -- to which he simply responded, "I better."

we live outside of Buffalo, right near Kane's home turf, the media was brutal when him and his cousin popped that cabbie, I suppose now they'll kiss his punk a$$ when he comes back with Lord Stanley-HOWEVER, I am glad the Hawks won the cup!

Clearly not hockey fans at TMZ.... don't you notice who's behind Kane?

Clearly a kid who needs some class. The Stanley Cup is a treasured trophy. Taking it to a bar to pick up chicks is s***. Didn't look like the cup had much protection from "outsiders." Sure hope he had some.

They are allowed to take it wherever they want when it's their turn, and he's a kid so of course he's going to do something like that..get over it people.

Where are Paris and Lindsay when you really need some skank? They could really tarnish the cup!

They were in CA filming the Leno show. Believe me they have been to a ton of bars in Chicago already. And taking it to a club is not the worst that has been done with that cup. Google it.

Mariah help!!!

@ number 7...yes you are correct, they are allowed to bring it where they want...HOWEVER, usually you bring it to your hometown, where you grew up and where your family is and share the joy of winning the Cup there...he's young and immature (proven) but it does not excuse him. The Cup has history and parading it around like a chick magnet is insulting to real fans and peopl who understand the game and history.

You people need to relax! They took it there to be on the Jay Leno show. Should they leave it in the hotel room when they go out for drinks. They are 21 years old not 56 like most of you cry babies!

Mariah help!!!

They can go on the Jay Leno show, who cares and no one is crying, just giving their opinions...and yes true fans know exactly what the Cup has been through and seen (hometown bars-homes etc...) Toews should have been holding it up...he's the Captain.

I live in Chicago and I love Patrick Kane. All the Blackhawks have been taking the cup to the clubs here in Chicago. They were in LA to do The Tonight Show. Plus, Kane is only 21, of course he's going to party with it. For all the people who are putting him down for taking it to a club, I would love to see what you would do with the cup if you won it. I have a feeling you would go a little crazy as well.

Mariah - now your crying about who should hold it? Your a joke! You never stop complaining! Let me guess your a Flyer fan. If you have been watching the coverage of that cup you hold so dear Toews HAS been holding it. So has the rest of the team. There is no "I" in team pal.
