But according to the report, Lindsay was allowed to take the drugs that created the positive results -- namely, Dilaudid (opiate) and Adderall (amphetamine).

According to the report, "The defendant indicates she has been on the same prescription medication for as long as she can remember."

She's like Elvis with his "kit". Won't be long and her last words will be like his, "corn".

This is the most blantantly ridiculous LEGAL and openly publicized form of drug pushing on the planet!! The doctor prescribing these medications, especially dilaudid!! What a crock of CRAP that this so called doctor is not in jail - he should have his medical license permanently revoked! How simple would it be for the medical board to easily find out who this lame excuse of a doctor is & take him out of business so he create any more ADDICTS - simply ridiculous. She could get it off the street, I know, I know BUT the fact of the matter remains that whatever doctor does not have his patients best interest at heart - DISBAR THIS DRUG PUSHER!!

Wow. Dilaudid. She must have had some tolerance for painkillers to be prescribed that.

I believe this judge might just be saving this girl's life. Let's hope once the withdrawals and drug-induced psychosis (hopefully) clear, that she'll do something meaningful with her life.

Lindsay has a long road ahead. Her personal hell is something I wouldn't wish on anyone.

Adderall loses its affect after awhile so the dose needs to be adjusted. The highest they will adjust it is (to the common folk) is 50mg because thats the most that is recommended. If she has been taking it for "as long as she can remember" then she is taking a hell of alot more then 50mg. I took Adderall and after 3 years of taking it the correct way it no longer worked I switched to something else. Basically she is using it to get high!

My thoughts exactly CJ! Unfortunately, if they send her to a psychiatrist, he's just going to put switch up her meds and that's not going to help.

"The defendant indicates she has been on the same prescription medication for as long as she can remember."

Ah well, there's your problem, Linds. Get yourself off of that crap while you're in rehab and you'll be on the road to sobriety. Just saying.

No wonder so many hollywood stars end up dead from OD. Their doctors give them anything they want.

I am not shocked by her perscription. When you take young adults out and force them to fulfill their potential 100 percent it has costs.

It is normal to see teenagers underperform. As parent you are sometime sorry, sometime it even bothers you so much that you turn to an educational consultant or to medication.

Her family was depending on her to fulfill her full potential in acting despite the normal shyness and lack of trust in herself many teenagers have. So they medicated her with ADHD and anti-depression medication. Due to long hours in a hot environment and many hours of deep concentration she may have developed a migraine. People who have it know that it disables you from working and it is exactly what a movie production doesn't need, so they prescripe her some heavy medication in order to deal with that.

It is a totally normal mixture of medication for young actors. It deals with the problems they face. We may believe that it is wrong, but then we have to ask ourselves if we are ready to ban young adults from reaching out to a career in the media business.

AS more thing...I have a HUGE issue with the "report?"... It states she's been on these various medications for as long as she could remember. How is that okay? How is that a legally acceptable comment or reason from her probation officer? Wouldn't you insist she get some kind of help or something of that nature.
Even though Ms. Lohan is of legal age and therefore really should be making her own decisions, apparently the persons who legally should have kept her in check - like her probation officer - should be called into question.
Trust me, I get that somewhere along the line Ms Lohan should have made some other choices BUT...I'm just trying to understand how this "report" is acceptable and why NO ONE else is being held accountable when it was known about this variety of medications she was on...Okay I think I am done...But still, why is this okay????

This is just ridiculous & someone needs to look into this. This is exactly how an addict can be created. WTH?? Now if she's been on a doctor shopping trip that's one thing but any doc who prescribes the Dilaudid for longer than 7-10 days needs to be answering some serious questions. There are also other medications for ADHD that are more addict-friendly than Adderall. What a shame.
