Turns out ... Right On Programs is currently being looked at by the L.A. County Department of Public Health as part of its twice annual review. The review started this week, but a rep for the county says the timing is just a coincidence. Riiiiiiiiiight.

We're told the review will focus on whether the program turned over accurate records on all their cases. If they uncover problems, they will work with Right On to correct them -- but if the problems are really bad the county could refer the matter to the state to shut Right On down.

As for Michael Lohan ... he tells us he wants to see the program shut down entirely. He says he thinks Right On falsified records and gave preferential treatment to their celebrity clients ... much to their detriment (see: Lohan, Lindsay).

Right On had no comment.

@Charley (#61) Wait, what? Federal courts should intervene in a local DUI VOP case because a self-confessed criminal can't or won't comply with what she agreed to? A drunken Lohan can drive over a half dozen Angelenos and still claim that she's more than paid for the privilege (though she may need to leave the west side), but she can't claim to have kept the agreement she made to stay out of their jail. That's their jail and their deputies that will be collecting autographs. The feds oughtn't "intervene" when the put-upon local CO's are trying to make a few bucks (beyond their $75k salaries) to feed their families watching a doped-up loser tranq through her so-called punishment.

Ever read the Constitution, Charley? Tenth Amendment, or somethin'... It's in there.

I posted #61 and we believe #67 to be negative but sharp. The 10th amendment states that the powers not delegated to the US government or prohibited by the states are reserved to the states or to the people.I think that the civil rights were violated in the earlier amendments about individual privacy and the search and seizure laws given to civilians especially veterans who have done legal work.Still no physical injuries were reported that we heard and she had legal representation. She will not have to pay fines but California should need the money for good causes. The state judges must know many more specifics than published. We would expect suits in the Federal Courts there should really prevent the destruction of her famous career, yet she needs another specialist attorney. It really does get into politics to preserve our civil rights. This would involve both the federal and state courts or no rights after human error especially those who have had dangerous jobs.Uncle Sam can really assist the persecuted by state courts with adequate defenses.Harvey of TMZ already is licensed in this area.I know California and the Governor's office will listen to a reasonable lawyer.
