Terrell Owens 'Very Close' to Deal with Bengals

Nobody else wants him. And considering they signed Antonio Bryant this offseason, I'm betting the Bengals will get TO on the cheap.

I am a huge Terrell Owens fan. I always pick the best. Terrell hasn't lost any "step" in his game...Every GREAT WR's "drop the ball"...but when Terrell does it, it's never forgotten. Just add up all the completions, touchdowns and yard this young man has... Understand he is the greatest WR to ever play this game, except for Jerry Rice, and he had Montana! Even with Owens losing almost three years of play (Beagles contract fiaso; one year with an awful Buffalo team; and one year with the flash in the pan Romo throwing to his best friend, Jason Witten 85% of the time. Regardless, with OchoCinco and Terrell together, it will be great football AND great entertainment. Owens has got an unfair, bad rap ever since the Beagles and McNabb when Terrell only spoke one sentence of TRUTH. McNabb was always over rated... and he has his outstanding stats thanks to the time he played with Owens...but McNabb was jealous of the kid...and McNabb ALWAYS had a phony, stupid personality...Puking on the field in the last 5 minutes of the superbowl....crashing and burning, while Owens played on one and a half legs that day and was the BEST player on the field. A courageous and mostly thankless effort from the great Owens. He's in the Hall of Fame if he never played another game...but he will and I love the idea of him and Chad on the same team. High Octane.

I been doing some thinking about this and have come to this conclusion. If this whole T.O. to the Bengals thing turns out to be true, I think both him and OchoBuffoono will finally come out the closet, profess their love for each other, and become the first openly-gay male black pro athlete couple. Just sayin'.....

Quit wasting everyone's time, get some more facts before posting this garbage.

Is this kind of thing really your forte? If you're right you'll look good, of course. But is the modest upside really worth taking any sort of credibility hit over? Disinfo seems to swirl around Owens so the degree of difficuty in getting this one right is certainly above average.

Bottom line...these 2 guys are better at making fools of themselves than they've ever been at football. I'm from Philly and remember TO's talent. I supported him even when he started to act up because no matter what the press indicated, he was still a team player on game day. He really seemed to light a fire in his teammates on the sideline but now he's become a huge joke. Maybe it's time he retire and focus 100% on entertainment and preserve the memory of his once spectacular football career...As for Ocho, I don't know anything about him or care to. Just sayin'
