As we first reported, Bob took a shot at Drew the other day ... describing Carey's hosting style as less than exciting.
But yesterday, TMZ spoke to Drew outside his favorite diner in Los Angeles ... and it was clear dude didn't take it personally.

He is just as sweet in person if you ever get to meet him. A class act. He did drop some weight. Good for him.
You people are so-oooo...Sheesh!! I would've responded the VERY SAME WAY DREW CAREY did. Carey has Class and so much more, and, in case you didn't know: Drew Carey, among other things, is a member of MENSA. So, again, I WOULD'VE RESPONDED THE SAME WAY he did.
when i was younger and got to miss school no matter what grade. i would always watch the price is right. Bob was a master of game shows and when the day came that he would step down for Drew Carey i was so disappointed. After the first episode i told myself i would never watch this show again. This hurt me because at 10 central time it sucks for tv. However, i'd rather watch the view or the steve wilkos show then drew carey and the new price is right. He "Drew" is about as cool as the "SUN." The show sucks soooooooooo BAD.
Who CARES what Bob Barker said or what Drew replied??

Classy response Drew. Bob Barker= snide bitter old man. Makes me believe what people who work on the show said, Bob was fired, not retired.
I like the price is right better with drew as the host, he is friendlier than barker, and I'm proud of him losing wieght for his health and his looks................
i like the price is right and have watched it for years.there is nothing wrong with drew, as for bob, it is a good thing he retired because i could see at times he was getting impationed with some of the contestants.keep up the good work, drew.
Britney Spears might miss a lot more 'X Factor' auditions ... because she can! Simon Cowell gave Brit damn near free reign in order to sign the pop star to that $15 million deal -- but is it backfiring? We'll tell you what peeps on the set are saying.Plus, Chris Jericho's…
