Barry Bonds -- Trial Date Set for Steroid Case

Mark your calendars -- Barry Bonds will stand trial for allegedly lying to a grand jury about his steroid use before setting baseball's home run record ... and it's all going down in March 2011.

Barry Bonds Steriods
Bonds -- who faces 11 felony counts of perjury and obstruction of justice for his testimony during a 2003 MLB steroid investigation -- has been ordered to appear in federal court in San Francisco on March 21, 2011.

Bonds allegedly tested positive for steroids three times before his 2003 testimony -- but claimed in 2003 that he never knowingly used the substance.

Bonds has already pled not guilty and has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing.

Okay, don't tell me what is in that syringe you're putting in my hip so I can say I had no knowledge of taking enhancing drugs.

This one will be slam dunk proof; he will get off because the proof is his blood and you can't force someone to testify against themselves. He will be an * forever. Nice work Barry...

What a waste of my hard earned tax dollars. I am here struggling my ass off, then the government tax me 27%. Hoping they will spend it on some roads and teachers and security. Instead they are spending it to find out if Barry place a needle up his own butt.. M-fers it is his butt, i don't care. Get busy putting some rapist in jail.. Secondly, this is San francisco, the dude is a god in that city.. He built the B-park.. The bitch ain't going to jail..

i hope they ban him for life, strip him of all so called "records" he ramped up on his drugs and let him wander off into his own ego-filled world of shame.

most people would ask someone "hey what's that in the syringe you're stabbing me with?" .... but if you're going to go the route of you didn't know -

no pro-athlete paid as much as he was lets someone shoot them up with something blindly.

how stupid are you trying to make people out to be, bonds?

i'd rather have pete rose reinstated any day, any time, than you holding any kind of acclaim to baseball.

They have spent over $10mil on this case so far. This is a joke, who really cares. Do you know Congress spent more time in hearing on steroids in baseball then the Iraq war! We have our priorities so far out of wack its crazy.

Seriously, the only real way to get justice in this matter is to strip Bonds of the home run record, award it back to Hank Aaron, and also ban A-Roid from breaking it unless they erase all of the games where he is suspected of doing roids. Matter of fact, just strip the records of all the juice heads: Bonds, Mcguire, A-Rod, Sosa, Clemens, etc..etc...

Why is this still an issue?!?! So many important things to use the time and money on. I looked at the year this started, freaking 2003. It will be 8 years when another trial starts. Justice department should be embarrassed that this is still a topic.

Bonds is a cheater and a true POS who deserves to have his name and all his statistics removed from MLB History. Work at a carwash is too good for this creep.

why is the government was their time with athletes using performance enhancers? don't they have better things to worry about?
