Slash has filed for divorce, TMZ has learned, and it's gonna get ugly.
According to legal docs just filed in L.A. County Superior Court, Slash -- real name Saul Hudson -- cites irreconcilable differences. Slash and wife Perla Ferrar have two boys, age 6 and 8. Slash is asking for joint physical and legal custody.
Sources close to the couple tell TMZ the breakup is extremely acrimonious.
Slash, who is repped by disso-queen Laura Wasser, is willing to pay spousal support, according to the docs. There is no prenup.
The couple was married in October 2001. Slash lists the date of separation as July 15, 2010.

it's always about the money. the only reason women get married these days is to get divorced and get his money. it's legalized theft, and men go into it like lambs to the slaughter.

The guy is such a jerk.
Ran into him at a children's event last Summer, and he was giving the kids attitude about taking a photo. At a children's fundraising event!
I can understand being upset if someone interrupts you in your private time, but not at a fundraiser...

He's not a jerk -- he is just a really, really shy man. It's been frequently noted that has a lot to do with why he hides behind his hair on stage, and doesn't do too many interviews or public stuff unless he is on stage. And, to #2 -- spousal support isn't a given, yes, child support, but not always spousal. He's going to end up paying a ton, though since Perla is a very "persistent" woman. I think his first wife would agree to that!

Met the entire family 4 years ago at Beaches in Turks & Caicos. Extremely friendly, all of them. Will say this, however...the wife has a mouth that would embarrass a truck driver.

Dude's in real trouble here. His soon-to-be-ex is a total nutjob; she's the worst kind of woman to be in an arguement with. Not only is she agressive, but she won't shut up & will make his life a living hell. Expect to hear her start telling his secrets in 3... 2... 1...

Hmm, I thought they always seemed happy together. Guess, that doesn't mean they are or will always be. Interesting that HE filed and is already figured it all out. Willing to split share the the kids and give her support so sounds like he just wants it to be fast and as painless as possible. I wonder if she hurt him in some way and he just wants it done and over. Sounds like what a man would do. Smart if you ask me.
