Despite playing several months of mediocre golf -- Tiger Woods was just selected to represent the United States in the upcoming Ryder Cup tournament -- one of the most prestigious events in the sport. 
Woods -- who was hand-selected by team captain Corey Pavin -- phoned in to the press conference moments ago, where he said he was "honored" to be a part of the team.
The Ryder Cup -- which begins next month -- pits the best golfers in the United States against the best golfers in Europe.

If he is on his game then he is the best choice. He needs to start doing better though. I honestly think he needs to start hooking up with a few women. He is single now so he should start acting like it.

Considering how he's played this entire year, he's not fit to represent, on that team. Maybe next year if he finds his skills again. Is Trojan sponsoring the team now? Abortion clinics? STD out-patient clinics? What's the story on why Tiger above at least a dozen others who've played better all year, was picked?

I feel sorry for Pavin, he just could not avoid selecting the worlds #1 golfer, but with it, he got the worlds #1 man whore to go with it!!!Their should be some kind of "decency" rules in sports. Must we give into Immoral behavior in favor of decadent behavior in EVERYTHING?????
