It's been one month since Fantasia Barrino attempted to kill herself with Aspirin and a sleep aid -- but now, the time has come to crack some jokes about it ... at least according to Fantasia. 
The former "American Idol" champ was boarding a plane in NY yesterday when she decided to open up about pills, her love life and, of course ... her new album.

I didn't realise it was funny to fake a suicide, waste hospital time and bed space, drag your daughter and family thru this fiasco and right after coming out the hospital, continue filming your reality show with a married man. Yea, it's hilarious....NOT !!

As someone who's suffered from depression many years ago and fought visciously to keep suicidal thoughts at bay, any attempt to use suicide as a means of attention and then to joke about it afterwards is a disgrace. She needs to work with suicidal patients and get herself a bit of empathy.

Fantasia has missed the boat! Instead of making the best of wonderful opportunities that winning AI gave her, she has continued to make bad choices. If she truly has a mental disorder she needs real help, if she is just showing her "no class" personality, she's done!
