Japan to Paris Hilton: Sayonara

9/22/2010 10:00 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Paris Hilton is officially persona non grata in Japan because of that whole cocaine thing.

Japanese Immigration officials denied Paris entry into their county because of her guilty plea to cocaine possession this week.

Japan frowns on people who get convicted of drug offenses, so Paris -- seen above at the airport a few hours ago -- is on her way back to the US of A.

Before getting the boot, Hilton was detained at the airport yesterday for more than 6 hours.

A rep for Hilton says "Paris is very disappointed and fought hard to keep her business commitments and see her fans, but she is forced to postpone her commitments in Asia.  Paris understands and respects the rules and laws of the immigration authorities in Japan and fully wishes to cooperate with them.  Paris looks forward to returning in the future to a country she loves and has been coming to for the past 10 years.”

Before leaving Japan, Paris also tweeted, "Going home now. So dissappointed to miss my fans in Asia. I promise to come back soon. I love you all! Love Paris xoxo."

#135: I totally agree. If she was another colour and not rich, she would be in prison for life by now.

My two cents ;)

Paris you don't have "fans". You have onlookers who stare at you the way people see a car wreck.

Right on Japan!!! Finally someone says, 'no!!!' to Paris! Our country could learn allot from Japan: like saying no to those that enter our country illegally and think it's okay to take up roots, and suck off American tax payer dollars.

In my day they had other names besides celebrity for a woman like Hilton. Drug addicted slut. Why do we applaud all of these young actors who do drugs and sleep around? We have lost sight of all wisdom and ethics. Japan has the right idea.

She can't even spell disappoint. What a wasteland she is. All those opportunities her money has bought her and she is just a waste of resources and oxygen.

OMG

Wait a minute! I thought that if you are on PROBATION....that you CANNOT LEAVE the county, state....let alone the COUNTRY!!!! I have a feeling that she went to Japan to get a FIX....a place where the PAPPARAZZI aren't CRAZY like they are here.....and she could PARTY IN PRIVATE......SHE WILL BE AND IS A REPEAT OFFENDER!!!!!!! IT IS JUST A MATTER OF TIME. HOPEFULLY SHE DOESN'T HURT ANYONE ALONG THE WAY.

Its a sad day when the youth of our country looks @ people like Paris Hilton as a role model. We need to take a hard look @ the people our kids look up to. My opinion is it starts @ home. Parents should be the people our kids model themselves after. I try to set a solid example for my daughter and let her compare that to the "celebrities" of the world.

Regardless of what most think, U.S exports is depended of people like her. She is a wellknown brand abroad and represent everything a modern United States stands for. I happen to work in a business in Europe importing various goods from the United States. She is the icon we use to represent what is typically American and it really sells like nothing else among European youth.

Japan needs to overcome themselves. They need to be told a lesson so the export and the employees working in export businesses risking unemployment can be safe.

I is time to think back on one of our proudest moments in our history. I call for reactivating Executive Order 9066 if they don't turn around and allow her to travel freely.

If someone should restrict her from traveling around and creating income for us, now where the rest of you are not over there and selling, it should be our authorities and nobody else.
