Linsday Lohan Checks In To Betty Ford Rehab in Rancho Mirage, California, near Palm Springs

I bet Lindsay has probably already spent close to $700,000 on rehab over the past 5 years or so. I heard that the bill for the rehab she got this summer at UCLA Medical Center for 23 days was $130,000 !!

Is that insane or what? How in the heck do these rehab places justify these prices? It's not like she was getting heart or brain surgery. Jeez.

@33 and you know this how exactly ?? All indications are she DOES realize she has a problem. Point is what you do with that realization. What most folks also don't realize- or don't want to realize - is that she hasn't had her own life ever since she was 12 ( maybe before even ) .

She's in fact providing for her entire family ( Mum,dad and siblings ) ever since becoming famous. We can't imagine what that is like , I certainly can't . In addition to that her parents are constantly is some kind of legal feud.

So:
* no normal life since age 12
* hanging out with folks from age 12 onwards who do drugs and alcohol ( including parents )
* providing for entire family
* No privacy whatsoever since age 12

Does it come as a surprise she has personal problems with all that in mind ? Hardly.I sure wish folks constantly criticizing her start bearing that in mind. It's very easy to judge someone if you aren't experiencing what they are,you know ? Let alone name-calling . In my opinion anyone doing the latter is a complete idiot .

Most likely she's just trying to fool the judge so he won't toss her back in jail.

Maybe you were told she was at Betty Ford...but we have sources that say they watched her enter MOTNINGSIDE RECOVERY in Newport Beach...you know...the one the only licensed ADP house? The one who has a "recovery" home directly above a PARTY HOUSE?

"Send little Johnny or Brittany to our REHAB and we'll make her all better!...just make sure you mortgage your house to pay for it!"

All the while the "room mates and house managers" provide ALL THE DRUGS AND ALCOHOL YOU NEED!

And she thinks Betty Ford can do anything UCLA or all the other ones couldn't? I hope, for her sake, she buckles down and gets serious. It's the only way it will work. I mean the gal has got to be such a good BS'er to fool UCLA docs, it will have to be her internal decision and nothing else.

She better "fight for her life" HERSELF instead of depending on these "recovery" houses...its a JOKE!!! they take your money and if you don't get better? They don't care...they got your money :)

Went there in '05, they helped me, but I was done when I got there and ready for the help. I truely believe you need to be done with the D&A for it to work, some people just are not ready and no amount of rehab will help.

Right now LL is sharing a room with another woman (2 twin beds), making her own bed, and cleaning up after her self. This place is not luxurious. The food is good, not great, but decent as far as cafeteria's go. You need to walk yourself over there and you fill up your tray, just like we all did in school.

I can certainly imagine Lindsay ordering her own mother around like she's just one of her assistants. These young celebrities have some very backward relationships since the kid is the star and the big money maker in the family.

After a kid turns about 18 or so, these "Hollywood stage mothers" should give up the job of managing their kid and get a life for themselves. Let the professional Hollywood managers take over. The professional Hollywood managers and agents could simply quit if Lindsay becomes a pain in the neck. They have other clients they could manage.

Dina should be financially independent and not NEED Lindsay for anything. That way, Dina wouldn't have "conflicts of interest" (like paying her bills) and she could be a REAL parent who tells Lindsay the unvarnished truth instead of "walking on eggshells" around her.

It looks like Lindsay tries to surround herself with a bunch of "yes men" who cater to her every whim like servants ... for money or fame or whatever. Lindsay likes to have a little bubble of ONLY people that will suck up to her. Her mother sounds like she's been a "hanger on" and a "Lindsay Lohan groupie" instead of a mother for a long time.

This is what Lohan's 5th time in Rehab?

All of those so called "ENABLERS" No. Lindsay likes to party.

Her brother now talks about "Enablers" cut the crap. Their only concern is Who's going to pay the bills?

Dina Lohan, Mommy dearest, is not 25 years old and all the fake hair, nails, spray tan, won't change that.

I also know more about rehab places than I care for ( I have done the "full circuit " so to speak: forced rehab, voluntary rehab and finally cold turkey some 12 years ago ) and let me assure folks thinking this is a walk in the park: if someone had walked up to me when I was in the rehab clinic just few days and offered to take me to jail instead for duration of treatment I would have JUMPED at that opportunity.

However : it's still YOU doing the quitting, not the clinic. So you have to be ready to take that decision - and being honest to yourself about it ( never mind anyone else,yourself is the only thing that matters) - for it to be a long term success.

Human beings will continue to pray and support Lindsay.
The sub human haters will continue with their dirty language and name calling
and their hate and jealousy of superior people. Nothing much will change.

LiLo is just delaying the inevitable -- going to jail. As to the success rate at BF ... it's low. Then again, so are all rehab clinics. The real question is how is BF getting paid. How can LiLo afford all of this? It's actually more important to know that to help her.
