It is NOT proper to compare MJ’s case to OJ Simpson’s.

OJ’s case turned into a strong ‘racial justice’ case rather than a criminal one. If the race issue did not prevail in the whole trial process, justice could have been done.

But in Michael Jackson’s case - nearly everyone (including Oprah) seemed to have wanted to convict Michael Jackson, thanks to the bias created by the media. The issue in MJ’s trial was criminal justice, nothing else- and the court cleared him of ALL charges. Michael Jackson was innocent. The accusations were false.

It is odd that some people convict Michael Jackson when the actual court of law set him free on all counts?!!

Michael Jackson was inappropriately convicted by the media before he ever faced trial. All his record breaking humanitarian activities and music were overshadowed for too long due to this unfair treatment.

This is what gives money-hungry accusers so much more bargaining power over people like Michael Jackson. MJ was in a vulnerable position since such a serious accusation, even if unfounded, meant the end of his career because most people believe tabloid stories.

Michael Jackson’s case shows the sad reality that it is easy to destroy anyone with false accusations if they have MJ’s magnitude of fame and popularity. You are accused does not mean you are convicted … unless you are Michael Jackson. The court finds him not guilty on all counts, but the damage is already done. It’s a shame!

Ginger, how are you going to say that Mj's children look more happy and adjusted now than when they were with their father? You never even seen these kids when their father was alive. you don't know anything about what their lives or personalities were like then or now to make a comparison. I think its digusting how much these kids have been exploited since they've been in that manipulative old b**** katherine's custody. She hasn't been concerning herself with those kids protection or care. It seems to me she & that evil S.O.B Joe is more concerned with how she can use MJ's kids to keep her and that lazy family in the spotlight.

You are so rude, thos are michael's parents so matter how you feel about them you can never love MJ nor his kids more than his family. Katherine has been doing a good job raising her grandkids, you are building assumptions off of the media. these kids have not been exploited.

I am wondering where the saying went, if you can't say something good about someone, don't say nothing at all. I am so glad the Jacksons are going to be on o[rah. I want to see them all, and I wish poor Joseph had a chair. After all he is Michael's daddy, amd we wouldn't have had Michael to love if it wasn't for Him and Katherine. They are in thier eighties and deserve to be treated with dignity. I am tired of all the meaness. Good luck to all the Jacksons. Love you all.

This is really a great picture TMZ !
I can't help but wonder what it was Blanket said to arise so much reaction. Prince looks proud of him & surprised at the same time; cool. And Paris sure got a kick out of it. [Paris, you look so pretty !] Mrs. & Mr. Jackson both pleased also with whatever it was Blanket said & Ms. O threw her arms up.
hmmm...
Blanket looks as if he's wondering if he should have said whatever it was.
Wonder if this part will air.
In fact, I still wonder if the show will actually air.

Love the pic, but I don't get your title here.
O is not responding to him she's responding to Blanket.

This pic is a keeper though I may need to crop it.

I don't like seeing the kids in the news but something tells me that it's more purposeful than we may realize.
On a selfish note, I'm REALLY glad to see a picture of Prince, Paris & Blanket.
And Mrs. Jackson, you have a beautiful smile.

Katherine has the authority to say yes or no to the wishes of these kids. Joe is her husband and I am sure she respects him as such, something most people today do not understand. She is not manipulated by him and she isn't a push over either. She probably wants the world to see that MJ's kids are doing fine. They are healthy, happy and adjusting well. However, I would never have allowed OW to interview the children or myself, if she had "convicted" my son of molestation. I, like Randy would not have allowed her in my home. What was gained? How will Katherine explain this to MJ's children later? I am sure they read and will want to know. He trusted his mother to keep them out of the public's eye and she has had them in public more than he ever did. Katherine, Katherine.

Looking at some photos from Michael and his children in the early 2000's, I can't understand why Joe and Katherine Jackson would need Ophra to give an interview. These children were so much protected by Michael, and now they would be in a national television show, and for what!!!Publicity,money..What is going on..

Michael would be very unhappy about his children being exposed to the media since he took steps to prevent this from happening.

Opera was a guest in his home . She was disrespectful, rude and out of line . Joseph Jackson may have lacked in social graces and he may not have mourned his son the way the public thought he should . That does not give anybody the right to say he did not care . judge him or measure his pain by the kind of father we see him to have been. In no way am I advocating some of the things he did . but for anyone to take his life's accomplishments redused to beating his children and living off their fame In Michaela own words
My father grew up in the South, in a very poor family. He came of age during the Depression and his own father, who struggled to feed his children, showed little affection towards his family and raised my father and his siblings with an iron fist. Who could have imagined what it was like to grow up a poor black man in the South, robbed of dignity, bereft of hope, struggling to become a man in a world that saw my father as subordinate.
My father moved to Indiana and had a large family of his own, working long hours in the steel mills, work that kills the lungs and humbles the spirit, all to support his family. Is it any wonder that he found it difficult to expose his feelings? Is it any mystery that he hardened his heart, that he raised the emotional ramparts? And most of all, is it any wonder why he pushed his sons so hard to succeed as performers, so that they could be saved from what he knew to be a life of indignity and poverty?
I have begun to see that even my father's harshness was a kind of love, an imperfect love, to be sure, but love nonetheless. He pushed me because he loved me. Because he wanted no man ever to look down at his offspring.
Joe Jackson worked eighty or more hours a week.at two jobs to support his wife and nine children. Even still he could barley afford a house no bigger that a two car garage in a lower income section of Gary Indiana Joseph Jackson kept a roof over his family's head and food in their stomachs.and he gave them a strong since of family. There could be no socializing with the other kids or hanging out after school When 90% of the kids were either in a gang, selling drugs in jail or dead . He kept his children safe and off the streets. That was no easy task. The only way he knew how to do this was to put the fear of God in those children and keep it there . It was Mothers job to provided the love and nurturing.. What would be considered abusive today back then was an acceptable way to discipline a child What ever pain Michael suffered at his fathers hands was nothing compared to the brutality he would have suffered on the street .. . ..When the steel mills closed down fathers abandoned their family's or went to other states for work. Gary Indiana became the fifth most dangerous city in the USA. It is called Murder City The lost childhood Michael Jackson longed for would have been quite different then the one he tried to recreated . There would not have been any amusement park ,train rides ,water slides ,cotton candy , no Peter Pan and no Magic . .The streets would have been his play ground. It was literally a life and death situation and he knew they had to be the best. .For every hour his sons worked he worked two .He went from club to club booking shows and drove the group around negotiated their deals . Joe earned his money being their manager like any other manager would have He never stole or cheated his boys There was no way that Joe or anyone else could have predicted or even imagined the level of success the Jackson 5 would reach. . It became to overwhelming for Joe ,He may have made some bad business deals but By the time MJ was in eight grade he was a millionaire and at 21 a billionaire and and the most famous person on the planet. The problems started when he fired his dad and trusted the wrong people . Michael wanted to pay his dad back for stealing a childhood that did not exist.Joe Jackson had no incomee and he made his dad beg . He publicly humiliated him and his dad never said a bad word about his son it

As far asI'm concerned O... doesn't exist anymore. It's all about the $$$$$$$. She's no different, use and abuse whoever for the ratings. I'm so disgusted I can't even discuss this anymore! Inspite of vultures like her, Michael's legacy will last forever! RIP Michael. Love and miss you more than mere words could ever express.
