Manny Pacquiao just got hit with a $10 million lawsuit -- but not for breaking anyone's eye socket ... rather, because he allegedly screwed over a company that hired him to record music.
RBM Group International filed a lawsuit today against Manny in L.A. County Superior Court -- alleging the pound-for-pound boxing champ signed a contract in 2009 in which he promised to record 12 songs ... but never did.
In the docs, RBM claims they wrote Pacquiao a $40,000 check in October of '09 -- which he deposited -- in return for the first two songs ... but the boxer has refused to record the music.
RBM claims they're out of pocket $200,000 ... and they've lost profits in the amount of $10 mil.
Calls to Manny's people have not been returned.

Even if RBM DOES win that lawsuit, do you really think it would matter considering how much millions Manny Pacquiao has in his pockets right now? I don't think so...that's pocket change for him...
He is not the "pound for pound" champion, he is the actual champion of his weight class. People are claiming he is the pound for pound best fighter in the world. I know you guys at TMZ got by with a C- in journalism in college but try a little harder next time.
For the idiot above that said he is not the pound for pound champion. There isn't an actual pound for pound championship. But he is #1 pound for pound champion on all websites. Ring, Yahoo, Espn, etc. Sugar Ray Robinson is considered the best pound for pound champion but there is no actual pound for pound championship. Learn your boxing.
Pacman is ranked number 1 pound for pound. Pound for pound doesnt refer to the weight class your in. Maybe Carl should do a little research before commenting on something you know nothing about. Maybe you got a D- in learning how to shut your mouth

Manny had sign contract to RBM but he can't sing the music they produce because the voice required Tina Turner pitch and tone. And Manny declined it. Too sad!
