SNIPES - choose to ignore it until the IRS came after him - which is when he started crying but don't worry about him - Hollywood will take him back and he'll probably become a RAP STAR - he's done the time baby!!
Today I sent letters to President Obama, the ACLU & NAACP, pleading the case for Wesley Snipes. The evidence in the case in clear. Snipes was tried and convicted in a Kangaroo Court by a biased judge & jury! The media reported false information to the public. Snipes is innocent and should be released from prison.
The previous trial should be declared a mistrial, because 3 jurors told a 4th juror named Frank Tuttle that Snipes was guilty before the trial began. Tuttle sent in a statement to Larry King.
There were no African-Americans on the jury, because the Prosecutor gave the African-Americans instructions to return on the WRONG DAY! That's racist!
Snipes took a Certified Cashier's Check for $6.5 million dollars to court to pay any taxes that he owed, but his payment was refused.
Snipes wasn't at fault about the taxes. He had signed over "Power of Attorney" to a company that handled finances for celebrities. Snipes was told they were filing his tax returns and that he was entitled to a major refund.
Other celebrities were swindled as well, including Al Pacino. The Prosecutor's key witness in the case was Kenneth Starr, who stole from Pacino and many others. Starr pleaded guilty to fraud and is to be sentenced this month. His testimony was unreliable, false, and should have been thrown out of court. Starr, a convicted felon, was the "star witness"..."No pun intended", Snipes said to Larry King.
Nicolas Cage didn't go to prison for tax evasion. Charlie Rangel wasn't prosecuted for tax evasion. Why was Snipes singled out? He was convicted of 2 "Misdemeanors" and he got the maximum sentence, THREE YEARS! That's crazy!
Snipes was targeted, because he's a famous African American. Snipes was convicted of “failure to file tax returns”. The judge handed down the most severe sentence. Snipes was a victim who got railroaded by the white Justice System.
I am outraged that this has happened in this day in age, especially when we have an African American president. It should never have happened!
I hope others will make similar efforts to help Wesley Snipes get freed from jail.

#12 - Soooo America has only one famous African American? Bottom line - he screwed up. He had ample opportunity to rectify the problem, uhh a couple of years, so don't pull the race card. As far as the sentence, the judge has several different options - sentence wise - he chose the most severe - so be it. Wesley should have been at least paying a tad of attention to his finances regardless of who is handling his money. Wouldn't you? Oh, disregard that question - clearly you wouldn't - you'd let someone else handle it and then when you're broke you'd be whinning just like he is - someone else was supposed to be watching that for me - I'm innocent. It's called accountability.
