Blake Edwards' Death -- Dead at 88

Brilliant man and movies.

Blake Edwards was a great film director/producer. I liked his movies "10" and "S.O.B." Both had Julie Edwards in it and they sure made me laugh. Young film makers would do well to learn the things he said and did.

RIP Blake. Great movies, Skin Deep, S.O.B., 10, Pink Panther series, to name a few. Thanks for entertaining me all these years. You will be missed.

Very sad, what an icon. I met him at Spago in the 80's. He was polite, kind and very quick.

He forgot more about making movies than the younger generation will ever know. Every one he made is a classic - no nudity, no violence - just great entertainment. He will be missed. He & Julie Andrews were a great combination.

He was a talented man and will be so missed.

I have to say kudos to TMZ with the improved and much more respectful headlines and great pictures lately of our deceased stars...RIP Mr. Blake and prayers to Ms Andrews and family!
