Snipes Appeal -- Let Me Out to Fight in Supreme Court

12/17/2010 7:50 PM PST BY TMZ STAFF

Wesley Snipes' attorneys just filed a new appeal -- asking the court to let him out of prison while he attempts to take his tax evasion fight all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court.

0923_wesley_snipes_EX_TMZ_01
According to the documents -- filed today in Florida -- Snipes wants the U.S. Court of Appeals to overturn a decision that denied him bail last week ... right before he entered Federal Prison.

Snipes' lawyers want SUPCO to determine if Wesley should get a new trial because of alleged juror bias during his tax evasion case.

SHUT THE HELL UP AND DO YOUR TIME. Point BLANK.
FACT: you need to pay taxes.
Fact: it is a law.
If you dont like it, THEN MOVE SOMEWHERE ELSE.
You don't get to get away with it because you don't believe in it!!! NOBODY CARES. IT IS THE LAW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Respect the country you live in! Educate yourself about WHERE TAXES GO!!! IE: YOUR DUMBASS CASE!!!!!!

TAKE RESPONSIBILITY!!!!!!

YOU'RE NOT GETTING OUT OF IT, JERKOFF!!!!!

IT IS THE LAW TO PAY TAXES, WESLEY.

Jut because you "dont believe in" paying taxes, DOESNT get you out of jail.

IF YOU DON'T LIKE PAYING TAXES, THEN MOVE. SIMPLE.

educate yourself about where taxes go, then you might feel more inclined to PAY them.
ie: ALL OF US FOR YOUR STUPID ASS CASE!

DEAL WITH YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES!!!! DO YOUR TIME AND SHUT THE HELL UP, JERKOFF!!!

wesley snipes should really go to the supreme court judge and state that it was really an honest mistake, and that his battery in his calculator died, right when he was adding up his taxes, then he wanted to go buy a new battery, but the 99c store had already closed!!!! dang!!!! i think that could get him out of his troubles.

WOW. Expecting the comments by "George Clooney," this looks like a pretty sadistic and whack bunch, no doubt, perpetuated by the TMZ culture itself since you're all reading this page. With this sort of understanding of the law, and in our awesome new police state, most of you can FULLY expect to get thrown away in term for the maximum term a year next time you catch a party DUI misdemeanor for failing to signal a lane change after a night out. Not filling out a tax form is essentially the equivalent to a DUI, which is to say a first degree MISDEMEANOR. Just so you know, that's the new sentencing precedent according to Wesley's case. All the wannabe stars and haters (and probably racists) reading this post are upset because you're not the ones being discussed here -that's already known. But it's pretty sad to witness the sharp right turn toward utter stupidity this country has taken over the last thrifty years, so much so that most people can't even understand they're being duped by media organizations such as TMZ and other fake reporting, nor can the people can't even discover a basic grasp of the serious injustice that's happening right now in Wesley's on-going case which SHOULD get heard by the supreme court. NO ONE deserves to be in a federal prison for three years on NON-VIOLENT misdemeanor charges when nobody else EVER gets charged with this crime, mostly because offenders can't pay when they're in jail, and especially after they paid up. He paid his taxes and then some. Wesley wasn't on probation, and if he'd been guilty of anything criminal else in the past, he'd surely have been convicted of it. This is serious hose job, and the Florida courts are evidently using Wesley, to send his fans, mostly black youth I imagine, a poignant message that they better get ready to go to jail for a very long time on even the slightest most minor non-violent offense.

You guys are all sadistic and whack. Expect your local judge to throw you in in prison for a year next time you stopped for a failed headlight after a night out and catch a DUI misdemeanor in our new police state since the new precedent is just now being set down in Florida. If Wesley was guilty of anything other than a failure to fill out a W-2 form he would've been convicted of it. His sentence was nothing less that absurd.

I read these nasty comments declaring Mr. Snipes to be guilty (guilty by a questionable jury) of wrongdoing by failure to file federal tax returns. However, he maybe innocent! The IRS routinely falsifies your tax records. Falsify how? Well, the IRS often states in their system of tax records that the income you earn is from sources other than your occupation. The IRS then files a return for you. These records are encoded and hidden from you, and from Mr. Snipes. I intend to contact him and assist him.
