how is that her previous incident in the same jewelry could actually help her? in that first case, she unconsciously walked out of the store with jewelry that wasn't hers, and she recongnizes that when the owner realized of the situation. In the second case, according to her own story, she CONSCIOUSLY walked out of the store knowing that she was wearing something that doesn't belong to her ("it was on loan"), so she can't argue it was an omission.

why didn't they comment on the little comments that Lindsay made to her lawyer. The first one was when the prosecutor said a good probationer doesn't pick up a new case and tehn Lindsay said to her lawyer I didn't know we were telling jokes today. Also when the prosecutor said nobody should go be in contact with the victims because flowers were delivered Lindsay laughed. She seems to think this is a joke. Maybe some jail time would give her a wakeup call
