Rapper Jim Jones was arrested in New York City ... TMZ has learned.
Jones was arrested today for driving on a suspended license.
We're told Jones is still in custody.
UPDATE: According to Jones' attorney, Jones has been released from custody and was given a desk appearance ticket.
