Bravo

Says 'Buh-Bye' to

D.C. Housewives

4/8/2011 8:55 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

The Real Housewives franchise is minus one city today--as Bravo decided to pull the plug on "The Real Housewives of D.C." after just one season.

“We had an amazing season and we told stories that were unique to any other in the franchise. I wish all our DC Wives the best and hope to work with them again in another capacity,” Bravo exec Andy Cohen told the TV Column yesterday.

The cancellation marks the first time in Real Housewives history a show hasn't been picked up for a second season.

For anyone still keeping track, the remaining 'Housewives" cities are Beverly Hills, OC, New Jersey, Atlanta, New York and Miami.

The DC housewives didn't have a chance with the Salahis in the cast. The show was completely shadowed by these two flakes. It had more of them than any other housewife, and her husband more than any other husband on any of the shows. So either the material that was filmed was completely useless and boring or they based RHDC on the story of the Salahis. Miami needs to go also.

Good riddance! That was a complete waste of an hour of my life. Next, the Miami Housewives. They are completely disgusting not entertaining at all. Cuban Barbie, Pippins wife and the Latino who is always crying. Not entertainment. They are a bit off thinking that they are "beautiful women". It's hard to watch and listen to just like the DC cast. Bring back BH, NJ and ATL. Not that's entertainment!!

Hopefully Miami is next, Miami was the lamest one. If I had to keep 1, I would keep DC over Miami.

BIG MISTAKE BRAVO!! I couldn't get pasted all of the botox and weave in Beverly Hills, and the BORING women in Miami. They should have revamped the show by getting rid of the party crashers. Of all the RH they seem to be the most genuine. They will be missed.

I wish Stacie Turner and Lynda Erkilitean(?) the best. Stacie represented class, elegance and poise and was a good example of how to carry yourself well. Lynda was cute with her boyfriend Ebay(?). The Salahi's were a lost cause like Chuckles' long lost parents who were separated at birth.

Dc was soooooo boring. It wasn't really all that great, the only people I actually found interesting were the lady who owns the model agency and Mary. The rest were either just talking about politics and the president and the Salahi's are just annoying attention seeking wh-res.

I was following the various storylines in DC. Juicy stuff, race and gayness and psuedo politics make for interesting tv. Good or bad DC rep'd human nature at it's finest, flaws and all. Miami housewives = unwatchable.
