Jon Cryer -- No Time for Charlie

4/10/2011 12:00 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Jon Cryer and Charlie Sheen are both in New York City this weekend, but don't expect the former co-stars to get together over tiger blood ... sources tell TMZ.

0410_jon_cryer_charlie_sheen_ex_tmz
Sheen has been in the Tri-State area performing his less-than-stellar stage show, while Cryer appeared in a production of the Stephen Sondheim musical "Company" with the New York Philharmonic. Almost the same thing.

But a source close to Cryer tells us Jon will not attend Sheen's show ... the politically-correct reason cited is "busy schedule."

The fact Sheen called him a troll probably has something to do with it.

And, based on ticket sales and attendance, that's less than 1000 people per city!

A bit more, judging from the crowd, but even if so...who said he needs more? Do 1000 people in every city love you? Or me? He is pretty lucky;)

On a side note...Pay no attention to a certain person here. He/she is clearly insane and a typical example of an internet stalker who takes pleasure in harrassing others. Best way is to just ignore. People like that hate it;)

Well, there we have it on good authority - right out of the horse's mouth.

Internet Trolls like ksis just HATE being ignored.

My suggestion is that we ALL do just that. Ignore ksis/Raymond/westboro is awsome/whatever new persona/handle they dream up when the old ones are being ignored.

All quite simple, really. No need to know WHO they are, WHERE they are, and so on. If it sounds and smells like an Internet Troll, just ignore it.

Done.

Yeah, lucky is what Charlie Sheen is [or was]
Lucky to have a job when so many others don't.
Lucky to have children when so many people can't,
Lucky to have so many fans when many shows don't.
Lucky he had an amazing group of people behind him who made the television show he starred in a number one hit.
AND CHARLIE SHEEN THREW IT ALL AWAY.
But you could say "Yes. Charlie Sheen is lucky that he isn't dead from an overdose.

I am so envious, really, I am.[not]

Jon Cryer is a gentleman & a class act. Toothless Charlie is absolutely a train wreck & opposite of Jon.

I don't know about you ksis, but I might be hard pressed to find 1000 in all of the cities in the US combined.

But, I am not the one trying to convince WB or Hollyweird that I have a significant fan base to merit overturing the decision to fire him. Plus, he allienates the very people that did support him to some degree. That's plain stoopid. But he's not thinking clearly and he hasn't thought clearly for months. Why? Crack. He's completely cracked-out delusional. Things appear to be getting worse, not better.

And based on his appearance, he's about as crack-free as Skid Row is today.

What he needs is to put the pipe down and listen to one real friend tell him like it is so he can actually move forward.

And I think TMZ is doing a great public service with the Charlie Sheen Marathon. It's as fun as the marathon running of A Christmas Story on TBS. You just expect it and it's fun.

My prediction for tonight in NYC: Charlie tries something new but still bombs horribly, painfully, and utterly.

Charlie's career is dead meat!

You heard it here first!

My prediction for tonight - and for all of the remaining shows:

No changes to the show's format will make any significant difference to the overall quality of the show. They will all stink, regardless of any variability in audience reception.

No shows will be entirely free of heckling, or booing, or at best luke warm applause - unless the national guard is called in to establish martial law in the venue - or laughing gas is piped in through the ventilation system.

No "sold out" venues will be free of empty seats - including blocks of empty seats.

Why?

Because all shows will have one element in common - Charlie Sheen talking about Charlie Sheen.

If you were making me a billionaire(as he claims he did for the studio) there is no way in hell I would fire you unless you became insufferable to work with and I bet Charlie did.

We have all seen from his "pity me" shows how controlling and overbearing he is...imagine working with someone like this everyday. SMH.

The problem is that he is not trying to convince anyone. He simply DOES have fans. I have no idea why you people refuse to see that and accept that, but I guess it helps you with something.
And there is another thing, that personally I find quite tragic about your society (not all of it of course)...it's the fact that you refuse to accept he is clean and sober. You'd rather see him loaded, preferably ODed. He is more interesting for many of you when he is a drunk and a druggie.
You also refuse to accept that he did move forward. Many in his situation would hang themselves on the nearest tree. He is alive and doing well. Why can't you just accept it?

Two and a Half Men" had fans.

He was/is a product of that show's genius.
Without them Charlie is just so Charlie.

Actually the fans of TAAHM mostly turned their backs on him. Sheen's fans are still his fans.
And that show's genius would have been nothing without him. The difference is that he was willing to give Chuck Lorre the credit for writing the brilliant show, even after their "break up" so to speak. Lorre did not do the same, did he?

1] Charlie has proven that he isn't capable of apologizing for anything, No, his "apology" would mean nothing anyway--He cr apped on all of the fans of his wildly successful show.

2] Charlie Sheen is not more succesful than most Americans, Charlie Sheen was luckier than most Americans.

Ah. There we go. So he should be ashamed that his father was successful and helped him with his career? Should everyone who is lucky feel that way? The truth is, that he would have gotten nowhere if it hadn't been for his own personal talent.
As for your first point...He apologized quite a few times after his rants, including Chuck Lorre and Jon Cryer. Did anyone apologize to him for the lies they told him (Lorre, Moonves and WB) and for not reaching out to him (Cryer)? Nope.

"Sheen's fans are still his fans."
*********************************************************

Charlie Sheen's fans are actually Charlie Harper's fans.
As you can see from his offerings in his tour and the responses.
Without his writers,cast-mates, etc. from Two ans a Half Men, Charlie Sheen is just another Charlie, and not an entertaining, amusing Charlie either..
