Charlie Sheen

Persona Non Grata at 'Men'

4/13/2011 2:00 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

There are reports out today that Charlie Sheen might come back to "Two and a Half Men."  TMZ sources directly connected to the production of the show insist ... Charlie will NEVER be invited back.

Two and a Half Men
One report suggests CBS honcho Les Moonves has been putting pressure on Warner Bros. to take Charlie back.  "Absolutely false," say our sources.  Moonves has not even weighed in.

Charlie has been almost pleading for his job back, even making the pitch during his show.  And behind the scenes Charlie's people have been making calls, but Warner Bros. has closed the book on Charlie.

As for the future of "Two and a Half Men", no decisions have been made on what to do with the show.  Warner Bros. has until May 18, when CBS announces its fall lineup.

Stay tuned  ...

I find it interesting that those most staunchly defending Chuckie are not commenting on the legalities in the termination letter. Nor is there any effective rebuttal to the allegations in said letter - only vague claims that Charlie got "screwed over" by WB and Lorre.

And why does everyone keep dragging CBS into this? It's obvious to me that the legal dispute is between WB, the firm producing the show -with whom Charlie had a legal agreement - and Charlie himself. CBS doesn't really enter into this, legally.

Thanks for the link Nancy, and to RR for pointing us there, and others comments.

Of interest also was Bulldog "Go down in History"

I think Charlie and his 7 gram rock have done that quite well...

And BTW lets keep up the chatter on this letter on other threads - its too funny!

Nancy, they can't comment because they are REAL fans and obviously it is very important to remain a real fan so you can have yet another excuse for supporting Charlie plus it gives them a sense of superiority to tell other people that they are not real fans. It is a sad sad thing that your only satisfaction in life comes being the real fan of someone you'll never meet and who lives in a box in your living room.

CBS put up with his behaviour for a looong time before it got too way out of hand. Believe me, THE last thing they wanted to do was lose their Very profitable star, but he was overdosong, violent and really bringing bad press on himself...and by extension, the show. And they owed him an intervention...if they didnt, and he overdosed or killed 5 people in a car wreck, then everyone would point fingers at the studio and say "Where Were they when everything he did was a dangerous stupid cry for help???" {like where were the friends and employers of Elvis, John Belushi, Mailyn Monroe, Micheal Jackson etc ect???}If Sheen had died then everyone would blame the studio for being greedy and ignoring his problems. And people. he HAD and HAS problems.Too bad...cause his show was pretty funny and he was great in it...but..he let it go to his head.I doubt Charlie will be asked back because of the reasons he was let go in the first place...he is dangerously unstable and mouthing off pure freaky nonsense, and instead of getting help and apologizing he told them to **** off and now runs around the country being even freakier and ever more out of control, unaware that people are not watching him as devoted respectful fans but a freakshow ready to crash.
