'Teen Mom'

Pleads Guilty to

Drug-Related Charge

4/14/2011 3:20 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

"Teen Mom 2" star Jenelle Evans just pled guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia ... TMZ has learned -- months after she was arrested for allegedly breaking into some random vacant house.

Good news for Jenelle though -- prosecutors are giving her a chance to clear her record ... by performing 24 hours of community service, at which point the charge will be dropped.

Jenelle was arrested back in October with her boyfriend, after the pair allegedly broke into some abandoned North Carolina house to smoke pot ... and were busted with a bag of marijuana and a pipe.

The two other charges -- marijuana possession and breaking and entering -- were dismissed today. Jenelle is due back in court exactly one year from today.

I hope that she can start to grow up and get her life together for herself and her son. The future can be so bright if you just do the right thing and work hard.

Too bad teens can't see that having a baby so young can make your life so terribly difficult. It's not cute or cool-its fu^cking ridiculous.

1 year to perform 24 hours community service? should've made it 1 month. Serving a few days in a homeless shelter or food kitchen that time could be done very quickly. but giving her a year to complete tha little amount of time, just means that at the last minute she'll be contacting the court for more time.

So only 24 hours??? I guess so. She needs a hard life lesson. She is ignorant.

Great lesson to teach young people, or any age, break the law, do drugs, break into a house and only get 24 hours of community service. THAT will certainly make her think twice before doing drugs again. *rolls eyes*. The legal system needs a major, major overhaul.

Where is her baby? Are her parents raising that poor child? I hope so. She is too young. Too immature to have had a baby. She needs to grow up and become responsible.

What about her beating the crap out of that girl? What is going on with that and shouldn't the additional bad behavior resulted in something more serious as far as punishment goes? I honestly hope that this selfish bratt gets her ass beat one day.
Her mom is NOT perfect in any way and says some terrible things but she has stepped up to take care of the baby and lets her come home whenever she wants..she isn't that bad and Jenelle is just immature and needs her ass kicked.

1 year to comlpete 24 hours of community service, my son is in a montessori school and is reqiured to complete 200 hours in 4 years in order to graduate, and 30 over the summer to stay in the steel drum band, she will learn nothing.

Only 24 hours of community service. Are you kidding me! How did she get that sort of break. This woman is so mixed up and she will never stay out of trouble. Until the court actually makes her pay for her crimes she will continue to commit them and blame them on someone else.
