Kirk Cameron

Stephen Hawking is WRONG!!!!!

5/18/2011 4:00 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Super Christian Kirk Cameron says Stephen Hawking is WRONG about the non-existence of Heaven -- insisting Hawking is just as ignorant as ... (wait for it) ... John Lennon.

Kirk -- who is HUGELY active in his evangelist church -- tells TMZ Hawking has no scientific evidence to back his claim that Heaven is merely a, "Fairy story for people afraid of the dark."

Cameron tells us, "Professor Hawking is heralded as 'the genius of Britain,' yet he believes in the scientific impossibility that nothing created everything and that life sprang from non-life."

He adds, "Why should anyone believe Mr. Hawking's writings if he cannot provide evidence for his unscientific belief that out of nothing, everything came?"

So how does John Lennon fit in to all this? Cameron explains:

"[Hawking] says he knows there is no Heaven. John Lennon wasn't sure. He said to pretend there's no Heaven. That's easy if you try.  Then he said he hoped that someday we would join him."

"Such wishful thinking reveals John and Stephen's religious beliefs, not good science."

So there you have it ... Stephen Hawking and a Beatle connected through Mike Seaver.

Hawking is actually wrong. it's quite simple yet none of you can handle the truth.
evolutionists will mindlessly say that pain and fear are evolutionary traits to keep us out of danger. sounds perfectly reasonable unless you actually think about it. the secularists will say that we are just electrochemistry, fancy sure, but only that. but if we were we would not have pain nor fear as those experiential qualities (known as qualia) are impossible in the physical domain. this is best seen by a simple robot analogy. if a robot screams when you burn its hand, did it feel pain? did it need to? could it ever? the answer is obviously no.
a robot can run away from danger without feeling fear and retract its hand without feeling pain. and so could we if we were merely electrochemical beings.
something as seemingly trivial as pain is irrefutable proof that we are spiritual beings. if you don't like the term spiritual you can call it extramechanistic or metaphysical but it is what it is.
you can never make a robot feel pain nor can you make chemistry feel pain..
it's so obvious yet not one of you will understand..

it's a classic human mistake that Hawking makes, to assume one is right without actually making sure that you are.
try not to be mindless and have blind faith in him.
Richard Feynman also flat out stated there is no such thing as antigravity. he couldn't possibly know that and indeed now we know it's real (dark energy, dark matter) yet he said it without questioning it.

think my sheepish humans. reality is far more bizarre than you can possibly imagine and this I know for a fact.

To CasterTroy:
Do***entation is not proof that Jesus existed -- that's why 'faith' is necessary. Without proof or scientific evidence you need "faith." And countless thousands of non-believers were tortured, burned, hung and "purified" (to death) because they didn't have "faith." If there was evidence (proof) of Jesus's existence there would be no need for "faith." Paintings of Jesus, writings about Jesus or even the Bible are not scientific proof of Jesus existence.

Kirk Cameron challenging Stephen Hawking about the existence of heaven is like Pee Wee Herman challenging Lance Armstrong to a bike race.

Kirk I'm behind you 100%. Mr. Hawking be very careful. You seem to be close to finding the answer that there is a heaven when you get to hell.

Salvation is (one)proof Jesus exists.
If You've been born again (John Ch 3)then you know what I mean.
To have Your sins forgiven and to become a new creation because of Jesus' death and resurrection is a supernatural experience which is life changing!

Not only is John Lennon correct, but Dan Fogelberg is on the mark with "Part Of The Plan." Alanis Morissette wrote a song about the man who's saving us from this miserable world. "No Pressure Over Cappuccino." I will add that Christians and evil people are playing "Master & Servant" and "Personal Jesus" by Depeche Mode.

There is real magic in this world. Greek mythology is the correct structure to describe the power in this world. We are all connected, every soul throughout history is represented in this world.

Erasure's "Circus" and "Drama" are what is happening right now in this world. The music from the 80's has never been more relevant. When "Inception" was released on Blue-Ray the cover stated "The Dream Is Real." Everybody is on an Inception team whether they like it or not.

The man saving us from this world has no religion, he uses science. Particularly game theory. Everything happens for a reason.

Finally, listen to The Eagles "Learn To Be Still." There are a lot of people who are following the wrong god. Every born again Christian is following the wrong god and Jesus and they know it.

If you have any questions, I can answer them for the next 30 minutes.

You dont need to be smart to believe in god or even follow a religion. U can doubt Jesus, but what about Gandhi, Maria Thereza in India, Chico Xavier in Brazil?? Study these guys and u will understand.
Peace, love, is all we need.

Eyewitness testimony's of heaven and hell apparently are meaningless to Hawking.

To name but a few devout Christians that would disagree with Hawking if they were still alive: Blaise Pascal, Sir Isaac Newton, Matthew Maury

Hahaha, citing non-existence in the absence of measurable proof is "non-scientific" yet guessing that there's a benevolent cloud man playing The Sims with mankind is? Stupidity should be painful.

Actually, Phil is an idiot. There are 1000's of items that prove Jesus existed, It's just that there is no proof that he was god's son. As for Kirk, I am so sick of bible thumping fools who think they know everything, as well as being sick of scientific big brains who also think they know everything. Can't we all just agree we really know nothing and let those who have faith and those who have science just be at peace and stop arguing. Scientifically, matter never dies, so we must go on somehow, can't you have science and faith?

Kirk -you can believe your fairy tales but please don't pass them off as fact. That's why they call it faith- clever that way-no proof needed.
I am anxious to hear about your known existence of the wizard, easter bunny, and Santa. They all have as much credence of your "loving" god

Kirk should read a book other than the bible.

Well does Kirk have scientific evidence that Heaven does exist? No he does not. There is no evidence of a HELL either.

Many Christians will soon wake up in a world hearing Nine Inch Nails "Head Like A Hole." Jesus is real, unfortunately they've been following the wrong Jesus or some other soul claiming to be god.

Seems like 88% of the replies indicate they agree with Hawking. So, who has more credibility? Hawking or Cameron? Duh? Fantasy vs common sense!
