TMZ has obtained the chilling declaration written by Daniel Baldwin, explaining what drove him to file for divorce, including repeated threats to kill him with a knife ... all in front of their 2 kids.
Daniel says in his declaration, Joanne once came into the bedroom and said she had just watched a documentary on women who kill their husbands, saying, "Now I know how to do it, I understand why they did it. You have been warned." Daniel says their daughter heard the comment and asked him, "Is Mommy going to kill us?"
According to the declaration, Daniel says Joanne is "highly intoxicated in our home," adding, "She screams over money and proceeds to wake both children up by screaming and throwing objects around the house."
Baldwin claims he's been repeatedly brutalized by Joanne, alleging she has punched him in the head, pulled a knife on him, slapped him and hit him in the face with a phone.
Daniel claims she drinks so much she blacks out. The straw that broke the camel's back occurred Sunday, when Daniel claims Joanne went into a "violent rage" after arguing with her mom. He says she punched him in the head and face. Police were called and deemed her unfit to care for the kids, telling Daniel to remove them from the house.
As we first reported, Daniel got a restraining order and won temporary custody of the 2 kids. He has also filed for divorce.

Sounds like she's had these problems for quite a while--probably before they married and decided to have 2 kids. NOT smart!
Is Daniel the "Born Again" Baldwin? If so, how'd he end up marrying a substance-abusing psychopath?

Inspite of the nonstop drinking, violence, and verbal threats (all in front of the kids) ... he still needed the police to tell him to vacate premises for the safety of him and his kids?

Well I bet Daniel Baldwin understands how Kim Basinger felt while married to his brother Alex.
I dont know about all the alleged do***entation, you can barley read it??? Most of the time the one who is remaining "calm" has done some instigating themselves to get the reaction they are seeking. I am not saying she doesnt need help but if he acts anything like his brother Id might want to stab him too.
The Score... This is wife number four...They met when he was doing his mini-doc on (finally?) getting clean for ABC in a Malibu Rehab.She was the cook. The staff was under orders not to fraternize.Danial hates rules. ;) And... she appealed to the two favorite parts of Daniel's anatomy...VOILA! The rest is history. 99.9% of all rehab romances fail because one party or the other "fails". I feel sorry for the kids. He's had kids with every ex and does not work that much anymore (at least not enough to support all those kids though one or two is over 18 now). I hope she gets sober, and you gotta wonder if we're getting the whole story. They're all on my prayer list regardless. Get thee to ALANON DB!
I think a lot of people are confusing Daniel with Stephen Baldwin. Daniel has been clean and sober for YEARS. I think he did the first season of Celebrity Rehab to work through anger issues. But he's been sober for awhile.
Perhaps she can stay with Brooke Mueller while she gets her life together.
They are probably doing this for publicity for a reality show. Poor kids.
