Soulja Boy

Army-Bashing Song

WON'T Be On My New Album

9/7/2011 1:00 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Soulja Boy and his management team are SCRAMBLING to remove all traces of the rapper's army-bashing song from the Internet -- and they swear ... it won't come anywhere near Soulja's new album.

A rep for Soulja's management team, Debby Coda, tells TMZ, both the rapper's management and his record label have been working nonstop since Friday to take the video down off the Internet.

Debby tells us, the song "Let's Be Real" was hastily and foolishly posted to the Internet -- and was never approved for any album, including his upcoming "Respect My Hustle."

Debby insists, the song will never be available for purchase.

We're told Soulja is willing to do whatever he can to make up for the song -- which contains the lyric "f**k all the army troops" -- including free shows for the military, and meet-and-greet sessions.

As we previously reported, Soulja has apologized for the song, blogging, "I Am Deeply Sorry To All Members Of The United States Military Services And Their Families."

pointless if its released or not

**** Soulja Boy. He has the right to his opinion and to make what he considers music. I have the right to ignore his existence; not like I wasn't doing that already before he opened his mouth and put both feet in it.

Too late. What said is said and now we know how you really feel about our troops that fight for your freedom and your right to act that ignorant.

I am retired Air Force and fought 22 years to preserve this young man's freedom of speech. Although ignorantly informed, he is still an American. I personally accept his apology, for I believe it to be sincere and am certain that the majority of Military (Vets and Active) accept the apology too, because it is part of their character to do so. I believe the apology is sincere. No need for him to do free concerts...make a donation to one of the many veterans organizations or visit one of the many vets homes, because many do not have family to check on them. This young man is trying to make things right. TMZ (that would be you Harvey) ...stop making a big deal out of this and for the rest, stop being so hateful...show some tolerance.

I say accept his apology.... why when a famous person says something, people will get all mad, and then want to see that person fail. But in reality, the average American says stupid **** alllll the time, but people aren't ready to kill us for it. He's young, he said something dumb, and apologized... get over it.

He's nothing but a typical rapper who uses his music to spread the hatred he feels for so many things. I'd hope the military stores boycott his stuff. He has a right to say what he feels about the military, and the military has a right to do what they feel is proper about him.

Yeah, way to go on the recall but it is a little too late.

Now because it’s affecting his career, he is sorry. Well I’m sorry too, your career and the careers of the people that work for you may now all be in jeopardy.

DON'T sell the record, Don't support the hate

To little too late!

Boycott this talentless ******* and anyone he is associated with.

Also, boycott any store selling anything he has ever released and he will disappear almost overnight!

Only an idiot would pick a fight with the entire military totaling millions of people, he deserves to loose his so called career over this. If anyone working a real job offended millions of people in such a stupid manner, they would be fired. Time to fire this ******* from everyone's lives! Bye Bye little *******, hope you don't find one of us next to you without protection, and honestly how much longer will you be able to afford to pay people to hang out with you!

If he is "willing to do whatever he can to make up for the song" then perhaps he should donate some of his album sales to The Wounded Warrior Foundation...or perhaps he should go through ONE DAY of Boot Camp so he can fully understand what is is the "army troops" do...APOLOGIZING is NOTHING...ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS!
As an Army spouse I would NEVER go see him perform or at a meet and greet and would strongly disaprove of whatever organization gave him the stage to do so. He disrespected the thousands of people who actually support and defend all of his freedoms. Just because we have the freedom of speech, doesnt mean we all need to use it.

Yet another piece of untalented crap with so much to say about something he knows so little about. Would rather be a piece of crap representing his local gang or street corner than his country like a real man. Nice PR work but its not going to dig you out of the hole you created. Oh, and nice parenting skills, where are they to tell him it's not right? Oh yeah, they are out spending his money. All garbage....
