Gifts Bikini Waxes to

Home Builders' Charity

9/20/2011 1:00 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

David Arquette is donating his "Dancing with the Stars" gift basket to Habitat for Humanity. Big deal you say?  Well it is, 'cause the goodies are worth $50,000.

The basket contains luggage, jewelry, spa treatments, skin care products, sheepskin boots, Swedish men's clothing, weight loss products, handbags, eyelash care products and bikini waxes.

Those home builders are going to look FABULOUS!

The country could get out of debt if celebrities claimed all the freebies they receive on their tax returns.

Wow. Must have really put him out to re-gift like that.

love my fans, do you know he does not donate his time to help Habitat and for that matter how many hours do you donate to them? It was a thoughtful thing for him to do, why be mean about it? Way to go David!!

very nice of him to do that, he didn't HAVE to, but did it out of kindness! Some of you needs to stop being so childish!

To all those who criticize David's donation: David's donation is bigger than the items in the gift bag. Yes, he's re-gifting, but in doing so, has put the Habitat for Humanity name in the spotlight. The number of media impressions from this gift is worth hundreds of thousands, and putting the Habitat name at top of mind for all who read about it is invaluable. Please don't question his sincerity, David does a lot of work for a lot of charities. He regularly volunteers at an LA food bank, almost weekly, helping pack boxes of food. And he doesn't call the media every time he does. He supports Feeding America and a lot of other charities, too.

That's very generous of him. Habitat can use those items for fundraising event silent auctions and whatnot to raise money.

$50,000 on gift baskets, are you serious?

In this economy handing out $50,000 gift baskets is totally irresponsible. Why is it that "celebs" are given everything under the sun when they are the ones that can afford to buy the best of everything?

Wow,,,,all the typical Hollywood crap that makes women feel like they are not good enough...I can't believe Habitat would want that known. How about giving them tool boxes with drills, saws, hammers, protective goggles and hard hats instead of that crap?

This is a very impressive move for David. His items will help the charity and the press for the Habitat for Humanity will hopefully generate more donations. His donation will change the lives of families and for that we should all focus on how we can help in any way possible.

It's doubtful DWTS's paid retail for the gifts and tax write offs are shared by many down the pipe.
Not to mention Habitat for Humanity will not see 50 grand for the items no matter how they deal with the donation.

Another TMZ feel good moment with little substance

I hope these aren't the same people who feel the wealthy should pay more tax.

This dope doesn't know how to make a right move on or off the dance floor. Eyelash care for homeless people? Bringing gross PeeWee with him to DWTS? He's out of his mind.
