Dr. Conrad Murray's Lawyer

MJ Had Plenty of Time

To Kill Himself

Dr. Conrad Murray
's attorneys are trying to change doctor's story, trying to convince jurors that Michael Jackson had way more than 2 minutes to self-administer the fatal dose of Propofol.

Murray's attorney J. Michael Flanagan suggested in court today -- perhaps the 2-minute window Murray described in his infamous police interview wasn't so accurate.  Murray told cops he left to pee, and when he came back Michael wasn't breathing.

The problem with Murray's statement -- it's improbable that during the 2-minute window, MJ woke up, grabbed the Propofol and shot it into the port in his leg.

So ... during his cross-examination of cardiologist Alon Steinberg, Flanagan said ... "Let's assume Dr. Murray was gone for a period of time longer than two minutes ... maybe it was ten ... fifteen ... twenty ... what is it about [MJ] that makes him savable?"

Here's the reality. In the hour before Murray began resuscitating MJ, Murray was on the phone for around 45 minutes.  As we've previously reported, cops never believed Murray was out of the room for only 2 minutes.  They think he left to make his calls.  Apparently, this theory is also palatable to the defense, because it gives MJ time to awaken and inject.

The question -- will the jury buy the new version?

The explosive trial of Dr. Conrad Murray -- charged in the death of pop superstar Michael Jackson -- continues today in Los Angeles, and RadarOnline.com is once again live streaming the proceedings, starting at 8:45 am PT/11:45 am ET.

The prosecution is starting to wind down its case by calling its three final witnesses -- a cardiologist, a sleep expert, and an anesthesiologist -- all of whom will slam Dr. Conrad Murray for using Propofol as a sleep aid for Jackson. The D.A. will likely rest its case this week; then it will be the defense’s turn.

TMZ have a tip line. they obviously don't read comments. BOMBARD the tip line (top right hand corner on home page) and ask (nicely) that jacksons autopsy photo be removed. Dont complain about it being shown and do nothing but post a comment. these guys live on tips, they will read every one in case someone thin got fat, or someone drunk fell over. TIP LINE......block the tip line until this photo is removed.

If Dr. Alon Steinberg had been MJ's doctor... he wouldn't only still be alive, but be able to live and sleep without the help of drugs too!

Michael Jackson was a pharm junkie for over 25 years He was doing propofol since the '80s. Michael Jackson knew every trick in the book.

Murray was simply a new Dr., clean scripts, Rx#. Murray was able to get everything Michael Jackson wanted.

Michael Jackson over all the years of drugs finially bellied up. Jackson is just as much to blame. Look at Michael Jackson for what he did to himself. Blaming Murray. Murray simply was able to get the drugs Jackson wanted.

so janet, do you think we should dig him up and beat him with sticks??? jackson is dead. Maybe that is why the person who provided and administered the drug is being held accountable. Should we just ignore his part in all of this? Grow some credibility.

Only problem is, if they cop to him being gone longer, abandoning his patient will be more than admitted, definite criminal offense. So which is it? 2 minutes, 15 minutes, or 45 minutes? No matter which way they go, he is screwed. 2 minutes is a total lie, so there is a perjury charge added, IF he testifies. Anything else, bye bye doc.

IMPOSSIBLE...MJ was hooked up to a catheter, oxygen tank, and the IV in his leg.....how in the hell is it possible for MJ to not only get up out of a propofol coma, but get up and find whatever drugs the defense is claiming killed MJ today..LOL..and prepare it and administer it...then die...I TWO MINUTES!!!!!...BTW Dr Murray says he was trying to ween MJ off propofol...YET he admitted he gave it to MJ ON A DRIP everyday for 2 MONTHS....Funny Dr Murray didn't try to ween him off propofol until everybody started speaking up about MJ not being right...hmmmmmmm....ALSO we are supposed to believe that Dr Murray gave MJ propofol everyday for 2 months by slow injection then a DRIP in order to keep MJ under....BUT he didn't put him on a drip JUST THAT ONE TIME?....F*CK OFF
******Dr Murray has told as many lies as Casey Anthony.

>>>>HEY...Anyone else catch that the urine found in MJ's room had propofol in it?...they found 500ml.(2 cups) of urine...and Dr Murray himself said the urine was from that night/morning..even telling the police he had MJ stand up and urinate in the hours leading to his death.....correct me if I'm wrong..BUT..doesn't it sound like maybe Dr Murray had MJ on propofol in those 3 days prior to his death and earlier that night/morning as well as the fatal dose?...**** IF Dr Murray hadn't given MJ propofol for 3 days like he claimed....why is there propofol in the urine???

SOME PEOPLE WANTED MJ DEAD AND THIS IS IT. IT'S A FELONY, NOT MANSLAUGHTER HOMICIDE.

ACCORDING TO THE TRIAL HEARINGS, I BELIEVE THAT MURRAY HAD BEEN OUT OF THE ROOM LONGER THAN 2 MIN. IF NOT MURRAY ADMINISTERED PROPOFOL, THEN WHO? SOMEONE DID IT WHILE MURRAY WAS OUT? MAY BE.IN THAT CASE, MURRAY SHOULD KNOW NAMES.

BY THE WAY, WHERE ARE JOHN BRANCA AND JOHN MCLAIN? WHY AREN'T THEY CALLED TO TESTIFY?

you know it

Murray really got himself into a trap on this one. He left for 2 minutes to pee because he didn't want to appear he was gone for too long but it wasn't enough time for Michael to help himself to drugs. On the other hand if had said he was gone for 10 minutes or longer that would appear that he was greatly negligent. So in the end...he shouldn't have left him unattended even for 2 seconds! GUILTY!!!

Murray's statement was full of contradictions and hubris. Now the defense has contradicted what they were to be arguing.

The one thing that has not been contradicted is the prosecution's theory that Murray abandoned his patient. Every witness has established and corroborated events as they unfolded. I'd like to know how MJ could have awakened, found the propofol bottle and syringe, was able to sit up to inject himself, and then wipe any fingerprints except Murray's off the bottle and then die instantaneously. It took a loved one months to die of cancer. He died with his eyes and mouth open. So just because one has his eyes and mouth open at death, that is not a marker of "instantaneous" death.

If Murray hopes to be set free, his only hope is leading the jury to believe that the coroner's investigator did a really lousy job and contaminated the evidence. But none of that refutes that Murray recklessly supplied MJ with the agents that killed him and left MJ alone in room under anesthesia.

If I were on that jury, proving how that last dose of propofol was given would not be important in my own deliberations. Murray was the single man who procured massive amounts of the drug, dispensed the drug repeatedly, and gave the drug against all medical indications in overwhelmingly substandard conditions. He never charted his SINGLE, solitary patient's vitals or described the diagnostics or treatments. He knowingly concealed propofol every chance he could. It's as if he had known that if someone found out about the drug, bad things would happen.

Murray, it's only 4 years. For you, that's a gift. For your patients, that's life-saving news. Your medical license should be permanently revoked in every state of the union. You have demonstrated bad character, bad faith, bad judgment, and frankly, bad medical skills. Perhaps you can use those 4 years in prison to learn a new trade. Flower arranging can be a good choice. You know they're going to die on you. They're supposed to. And you know who likes the flowers? Yep. The LADIES!

How long (or short) of time, Murray was out of the room, is irrelevant! Case in point, if you (reader) or your loved one, went in for surgery and during said surgery......your anesthesiologist decided to "take a break" and you died while he/she was on this break.....that would be called.....
1) Malpractice 2) Incompetence and 3) Lawsuit Time.
I will not even go into the fact that Murray was outside of an hospital in MJ private home. I have not followed this case, so I do not know if Murray "is even" an anesthesiologist. But if he isn't, this is really an open & shut case. It would be like a podiatrist performing open heart surgery in your kitchen.
