Not all Penn State students are van-flipping Joe Paterno supporters -- one fan hit the game today carrying a sign that distanced the school from Jerry Sandusky and the mob mentality that overran the campus when Paterno was fired this week.
But you are still carrying around "I support Joe Pa" signs...that means you are part of Perv State.
Good sign. I feel bad for the fans, not the moronic ones who are supporting the rapist and his friends, but the ones who have to suffer through this. They are owed an apology by these sick bastards. Something tells me they'll never see it though...
I feel is pain...to be linked to a school that has represented itself so poorly in this matter. At least, he has compassion. Most of the supporters of Jopervpa were jocks. Yep, dumbass jocks that can't control themselves...on many levels.
maybe not the fans but all the people that knew this was going on are worse than sandusky. he can claim psychiatric disorder. all the "silent" ones can only claim they knew but did not notify authorities. Morally corrupt/bankrupt.
These people are f*cking shameless. A moment of silence for the victims, and then an extravaganza of emotional claptrap, including prayers, singing, chants, to feed the "poor us" line that these sick Penn Staters have adopted. Looking at the t-shirts, signs, & crying fans, all carrying on over the disgraceful Joe-pa & their schools loss of prestige, you can tell these freaks haven't learned a thing all week. If they had a shred of dignity, honesty, & real compassion for the victims, they would show some class by sitting the hell down and shutting up. I'm so glad they lost, now hopefully the NCAA will step in and give this horrible school the punishment it deserves, severe sanctions.
That is the real Penn State. While maybe 2000 people from the State College area (mind you, I know many were just townies who do not even attend the school) were a part of the riot, TENS of thousands were a part of the candle light vigil held for the victims. More than $300,000 was donated to RAINN by Penn Staters before the game (where even more money was raised in and outside the stadium). Please do not think all Penn Staters are evil pedofiles because the acts of one man and the inaction of a hand full of other men.
Sorry kid but your 'vigil' occurred a night AFTER the riot. The vigil was just a show because of all the negative feedback. Its no better than that criminal Eric Holder issuing an apology to the family of murdered Agt. Terry, only after being called out for not doing so at the gunwalker hearing. Because, yeah, negative public feedback again.
I believe them. They do not support the abuse of children, regardless of what some knee-jerk a**holes believe, but that doesn't mean they don't support their head coach either. Until all the facts are out we don't really know what went on between Paterno & the administration.
That Mcqueary was pulled from the game only because there were threats against his life is a tip-of-the-iceberg indicator of how egregiously poor they've handled this whole thing from the beginning. He should have been dropped before Paterno, actually charges should have been filed against him as well as Sandusky. Caving to public opinion accomplishes nothing but exposing your weakness.
Why doesn't anyone understand that the "riot" was a spontaneous moment of stupidity by a fraction of people who responded horribly to a mob situation. The vigil was a planned event by students to honor victims. Plans began at the beginning of the week. Before the firings. Come on post #10, you can't be serious.
