"X-Factor" hosts Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger voted off the wrong contestant Thursday night -- at least according to several angry Drew Ryniewicz fans ... whose violent threats have Paula and Nicole fearing for their lives.
According to our sources, Paula and Nicole both got the cold shoulder from Simon Cowell after the show ... who was "furious" with their decision. But that's nothing compared to the abusive tweets and Facebook messages they've received. Some of the messages read:
-- "F**K you paula you dumb c**t you voted off the most talented person on your f**king show. i hope you die you DUMB B***H."
-- "I hope you die, you selfish----------"
-- "@NicoleScherzy @paulaabdul go die"
Sources on the show tell us Paula and Nicole are shocked by the harassing messages and neither has experienced a reaction so strong before.

what the hell are wrong with people? it's a stupid tv show. how did we get to the point where is was ok to threaten death on people or wish their death over the slightest thing that doesn't even affect our own lives. there is something wrong with society that people think this is acceptable behavior.
I'm proud of them for doing what they thought best. Does Simon expect them to vote the way he wishes? If so, I'd leave the show!
Of course they should not be threatened. Depolorable. But the 2 no talent twits who need something shiny to be entertained do need to have their hearing checked. Like Marcus but between him and Drew there was no question Drew should stay. They don't get real singers and that vote was to hurt Simon. Period.
Hoping or wishing somebody to die is not a threat. Hard not be amazed that people get that emotional invested into a TV show.
I think that is the new thing to pick on women. Look at how people abuse the Kardashians, even on here. People think it is cute or funny but reallly it is setting a bad precedent that will only lead to something worse if unchecked.
It is supposed to be a game, like a contest. That is just the opinion of these two seasoned professionals. If you don't want their opinions, don't go on the show. If this guy is such a great performer, he can make it without winning there.
People who get this emotional over a TV singing competition need to get fuller and more meaningful lives. Drew is a young girl who will get her chance anyway - I bet ya, she won't sell CDs for a long time - she's too immature, too "one-note", too boring. You'll all forget about her when the show is over. Who even remembers the winners of American Idol or AGT last year? It's just for fun- get a life - go feed the homeless or help needy children or seniors.
Death threats are stupid.
I'm just not going to watch The X-Factor anymore since Drew is gone. There are no other singers worth watching.

They should've thought about this before voting off a more talented singer. They did this just to spite Simon. They should be thrown off the show as they both suck at coaching. Josh is raw talent, nothing Nicole showed or coached him on.
Drew is a sweet kid with a great voice. Period. Is she $5M star quality? Personally, I say no. Is she worth making threats of this type over? No. Simon himself acted unprofessional over his losses here in the program. I think that as they continually develop this program, it will be necessary that the developers and producers keep in mind that they will be working with a lot of people with little or no real professional experience and be prepared for backlash from possible psychotics, and always have the proper security protection available for these up and comers. As for the viewers, just remember, these are hopefuls NOT professionals yet. While great they are almost in the winners circle THEY too need to do as told by their mentors. SIMON: Lighten up! LA: Get that stick out of your ass! Paula: Slow down a bit too. Nicole: STOP turning into such a bitch when someone says something against one of your contestants. You all are turning this show into a circus and quickly driving off the fan base.

BRING BACK WILLIAM HUNG! I actually bought his cd's. paula does not know talent when she sees it. There just isn't enough singing and dancing shows on tv.(sarcastic)
