Eddie Murphy's Ex-Wife

Conman Indicted

In $7 Million Scam

12/20/2011 4:01 PM PST BY TMZ STAFF

Eddie Murphy's ex-wife is out $7 million -- and now, the man accused of conning her out of the dough has been indicted on charges of money laundering, mail fraud and obstruction of justice.

According to the federal indictment, Troy Stratos defrauded Nicole Murphy out of a massive chunk of her divorce settlement from Eddie -- $7 million in all  ... nearly half of what she took away from the marriage.

According to the docs, Stratos acted as Nicole's financial manager -- telling her he had invested her millions overseas, when in fact he transferred the lion's share of the money to his personal accounts.

Stratos also allegedly promised to help her sell her swanky home in Granite Bay, CA -- but secretly lived there instead ... rent-free ... all while leasing luxury cars with her money.

What's more ... Stratos allegedly convinced Nicole to refinance the home -- as well as her other pad in Sacramento -- and then used the money to cover his personal expenses.

A rep for Nicole has no comment due to ongoing litigation.

Last time I checked, banks have their own investors. Why trust someone else with your moola?

$7 million dollar Peter?? I think not! Cheez, the higher the bank account, the lower the brain wave activity. Just plain stupid and gullible.

The whole story does not make any sense. No one is that stupid. I will bet that when it's all said and done, that what really happened was that Eddie's Ex, Nicole was Shagging the young handsome man and willingly gave him everything that she is now claiming he stole. Probably caught the young man spending her money on a more attractive young lady !!!!!

Generally I hate the word "karma" as it's usually used by people who feel that something bad has happened to someone just because they don't like them. If that's the case, then everything bad that happens in the world should be referrred to as karma.
With all that out of the way, I have to say this is Karma. Easy come, easy go! and that definitely came easy

Eddie should do a movie about this, call it "Pretty Boy," and play the lead - have his people call my person.
