SLAMS 'Racist' Dutch Magazine

for 'Degrading' Article

Rihanna
unloaded on the editor of a popular Dutch magazine this week -- furious over an article that referred to her as a "N**gaB*tch."

In the original article that ran in "Jackie" magazine -- editor Eva Hoeke approved copy that read, "Rihanna, the good girl gone bad, is the ultimate n**gab*tch and displays that gladly."

Rihanna was PISSED -- and responded with a Twitter message to Hoeke which read, "I hope u can read english, because your magazine is a poor representation of the evolution of human rights!"

She added, "I find you disrespectful, and rather desperate!! You ran out of legit, civilized information to print! There are 1000's of Dutch girls who would love to be recognized for their contributions to your country, you could have given them an article. Instead, u paid to print one degrading an entire race!"

Hoeke has since resigned from her position -- and the magazine says she has been "taunted and threatened" after referring to the slur as a "joke" in what's being considered a half-assed apology.

The magazine has invited Rihanna to talk things out with them for an article in the next issue. Don't hold your breath, Jackie.

It's fine that she's offended, but I wonder why she isn't calling out every rapper who uses the same language and worse. If it's offensive and disgusting in this case, then it always is. She's just another in a long line of those who berate others but will not hold their own accountable. Sickening....

"sticks and stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me" - Unfortunately, coloreds spend more time worrying about what people say about them than what other coloreds are actually doing to each other, which is what really is a poor representation of the evolution of human rights. When coloreds are running around shooting each other over less than $100 in substances or over an obese ghetto females, or over an assumed slight, that is the real problem. People can and should say whatever the hell they like and if coloreds don't like it perhaps they should take a lesson from what is being said about them and learn a little bit about how to behave. Rihanna behaves like a ghetto colored slut in public and on stage and wonders why people call her a ****** bitch. She behaves like one.

I am African American and have not used the N word. It is not used by my parents, my siblings or anyone I associate it. In my opinion, it needs to be deleted and completely wiped out of everyone's vocabulary; black, white, red, yellow, polka dot, etc., etc. etc.....

wow

Never lived in America but in Canada and Caribbean islands. The N word wasn't used by black people anywhere I lived. Personally think it's ignorant for anyone to use the term. However, it's different for black people who use it than whites. The meaning and context is ultimately different. What's so difficult to understand? It's like homosexuals calling each other the F word and I don't approve of that either.
Ri-Ri has gone overboard and isn't putting her best foot forward with S&M, C word necklace and so forth. That being said, I think the article would be disrespectful to anyone. What does it say about the writer and editor? Aren't they suppose to be more mature and professional than Ri-Ri? Writing a negative article and calling it a joke is very unprofessional in my book and now it backfires when they get names thrown back at them. It doesn't feel good does it? The world would be a better place if people learned to walk in each other's shoes and be more tolerant, kinder and loving. It's better to help others than criticize them. We all have our faults. It doesn't make you a better person in the end.

Waaaaah only I can say n**ga! No one else is allowed! Waaaaah! It's our word! Waaaaah! Gimme a god damned break. You act like a thug, you live like a thug, you get called out for being a thug. That's how life goes. Stop acting like a n**ga and people won't call you that. Problem solved. You don't see Halle Berry or Jeniffer Hudson being called that. Figure it out.

Rihanna is being a hypocrite. She's so insulted? Gimme a break, she's not exactly a shining example of how to dress or behave like a lady.

Secondly, if people don't want to hear the "N" word, then they should stop saying it. They say it to each other as if it's a term of endearment, which doesn't make any sense to the rest of the world, or rather to anyone with a brain.

This excuse of "It's okay if we say it to each other, because it means something different" is the biggest load of bull I've ever heard. But what's more sad is that they would consider it a term of affection for each other.

Plain and simple, I don't think the journalist meant it in a bad way at all. I don't even care that she said it. I don't think she should have been fired either. An apology should have sufficed along with a retraction in the magazine.

People like Rihanna are the very ones who are keeping that word alive. So boo hoo on you.

The officials in Barbados decided it was a good thing to make a sacriligious, c*nt necklace-wearing skank an official representative of their country and now she thinks she represents a whole race.

This coming from a woman who wears a necklace that reads "C*NT"? A word that degrades an entire gender, please!! I don't like the "N" word, but I think she just called the kettle black.

Rihanna is a disgrace to all women and to black people, she is vulgar and primitive. Her vocals are mediocre and she can barely carry a tune, and chooses to sell her music with near pornographic images. She is exactly what that newspaper called her.Apart from her necklace with c**t in it, she arrived in the UK wearing trainers with obscenities scribbled on it to sing at the X-Factor. Don't buy her music, let her go away.
