Dr. Conrad Murray

Denied Freedom

During Manslaughter Appeal

2/24/2012 5:20 AM PST BY TMZ STAFF

Dr. Conrad Murray was just shot down by a judge, denying him bail while he appeals his manslaughter conviction in the death of Michael Jackson.

During today's hearing, Judge Michael Pastor found Murray is still a flight risk because he does not have significant property or family ties here in Los Angeles.

Judge Pastor also believes Murray is a danger to society -- citing the NBC documentary, in which Murray fails to show any remorse for MJ's death.

Pastor said "it scares me" that Murray believes it's okay to use Propofol in a home setting -- and insists he could pose a danger to the safety of other people if he were released.

Murray had previously filed a motion asking for bail so he could spend time with his family while he awaits the outcome of his appeal.

Murray is hoping to overturn his manslaughter conviction on grounds he never had a chance to prove Michael killed himself  due to stress ... among other reasons.

Murray's appellate attorney Valerie Wass says she believes Murray is a "scapegoat," who's being blamed for Michael's death because there's no one else to target.

Good !Keep him caged! God only knows who this homicidal maniac could ambush in a dark parking lot and jam a needle full of death into! Meanwhile, upstanding citizen Jerry Sandusky keeps a watchful eye on an elementary school while visiting with his grandchildren.

"Murray is a "scapegoat," who's being blamed for Michael's death because there's no one else to target."
because there was no one else who was there (?), ordered propofol and administered it w/o basic monitors in place and left his patient alone.

Michael Jackson was a child molesting dope head. If he didn't get his dope from Murray he would have got it else where.

I agree totally with 'Beverly, #13'.... In no way is Murry an "scapegoat" for Murry & only Murry purchased the propofol; mislead the pharmacy & had it sent to his girlfriends home indicating it was his office. Then, to top it off brought it into MJ's home & he personally admits that he gave MJ the propofol on a daily basis.... That's not a 'scapegoat', that's one who had knowledge of the drug, other cir***stances & continued to give the drug for a 'very large payday'..... Bottom line, it's called murder!

Abolutely YES!!!!! The judge is so incredibly RIGHT!!!!! Murderer is a total danger to society and needs to rot behind bars!!!! And for God's sake murderer is NOT a "scapegoat"!!!! What does it mean there is no one else to target???!!!! Murderer was the ONE who was with Michael and had to take care of him, but instead he was on the phone with his whores!!!!!! And later he tried to hide the proofs instead of trying to save Michael's life delaying the relief efforts, and then, his many many lies!!!!! This so-called lawyer is a loser even more than his usual team of losers and maybe is mentally disturbed just as her murderer client who SO deserves to rot in jail before rotting in hell!!!!!!

I was going to say the same thing! Murray got it in a box of Cracker Jacks!! LOL It is beyond me how anyone that STUPID ever got his Medical License in the first place. Unless of course the standards for becomming a Doctor are Extremely Low - then he probably got it by the skin on his teeth! And if the Standard Requirements for becomming a Doctor are that Low - Makes you question how many other Doctors are out there who just barely got their licenses!!

Brilliant, thank you again Judge Pastor, would have loved to have seen this though, thought it would have been livestreamed somewhere. I wanted to see his pathetic face, oh well Murray looks like it's back to the cell and the chains, think he should be moved in with the other prisoners, sure they could make the rest of his stay very memorable in some very interesting ways. Ouch!!!

That's wonderful news. I wish they add 20 years to his sentence!
