'Team America'

The XXX Puppetmaster

EXPOSED

EXCLUSIVE

He's the unsung hero who helped "Team America: World Police" save the motherf**king day back in 2004 ... in fact, he pulled the strings ... and now the lead puppeteer tells TMZ a sequel isn't out of the question.

TMZ spoke with Scott Land -- who controlled everyone from Kim Jong-il to Spottswoode ... he also had a major hand in the legendary puppet sex scene.

Land was dishing some cool stories from the set when we ran into him outside Bootsy Bellows nightclub this weekend ... but it's clear, dude has moved on to even more perverted puppets (including one with a propensity for public nudity).

America, f**k yeah.

I seriously doubt there will ever be a sequel. I remember when the movie came out Trey Parker said it was so difficult that he would rather "anally rape his own mother" than do the movie again.

I've worked with Scott at the Magic Castle. He's wonderfully talented and a good friend!

I have kids in LA and have seen a handful of different puppet shows and Scott Land is by far the most talented and entertaining- for a one year old or adults. His shows are smart and sharp. I'd love to see what he could do with a sequel!

as much as manbearpig loved the movie- the likelihood of a sequel isn't good. i own the dvd and listened to the audio commentary and matt&trey talkede about how hard it was to do the thing and the never wanted to work with puppets again.
i hope they change their minds but i am not holding my breath.
