Lance Armstrong

Stripped of ALL

Tour De France Wins

Lance Armstrong is no longer a Tour de France champion ... the cyclist has been STRIPPED of his seven titles in the wake of allegations that he used banned performance-enhancers.

The U.S. Anti-Doping Agency made the announcement this morning ... Armstrong will not only lose his victories, he has also been banned from the sport of cycling for life.

Armstrong has adamantly denied the allegations ... claiming the testing process is "one-sided and unfair."

Lance released a statement responding to a USADA official yesterday saying, "There is zero physical evidence to support his outlandish and heinous claims."

"The only physical evidence here is the hundreds of controls I have passed with flying colors. I made myself available around the clock and around the world. In-competition. Out of competition. Blood. Urine. Whatever they asked for I provided. What is the point of all this testing if, in the end, USADA will not stand by it?"

From his first test, trace of dope was found. He has been accused thru all his wins of doping and there are others who have come forward to testify that they used the drug with him. This is the reason why he is no longer fighting the charges, to lie to a grand jury would put him in jail like Marion Jones. He can't prove his innocence and before it gets to a grand jury, where he would have to lie, he is dropping out. He should be stripped and banned for life. He is a disgrace.

C'mon TMZ, USADA does not have the authority to strip away his titles, no matter what they say. If you want the truth, go to a legitimate sports site for more details. This is far from over.

They have to a reason why, all of a sudden, the USADA is all over Armstrong. The question is: why now? Why are they completely on his case AFTER he retired from cycling? Can they actually prove he was on the juice all the back in the 90's? And, if so, can they explain how he managed to cheat his way out of so many drug tests for years?

Certainly, if the USADA doesn't have valid answers to all of this inquiries, it would definitely look like a witch-hunt. For their own credibility in the future, they better have some...

It's too late. He already had sex with Sheryl Crowe and Kate Hudson.

Why hasn't this happened to Barry Bonds and other where these drugs have been found? If you want to stop sports from turning into the WWE, step up and make a change.

It's amazing how you can have all your wins removed and your life destroyed by mere words of accusers who NEVER OFFERED THE SLIGHTEST SHRED OF PROOF against someone WHO NEVER FAILED A SINGLE DRUG TEST OUT OF HUNDREDS OF DRUG TESTS.

"LA chose not to contest the fact that he engaged in doping violations from at least August 1, 1998, and participated in a conspiracy to cover up his actions. As a result of Mr. Armstrong’s decision, USADA is required under the applicable rules, including the World Anti-Doping Code under which he is accountable, to disqualify his competitive results and suspend him from all future competition"

It was due to LA decision not to contest that they USADA did what they had to do.

According to eonline.com, the Swiss-based International Cycling Union doesn't agree that the USADA even has this authority to do this. This fight isn't over.

The only sanctioning body that can strip Lance is the UCI. The USADA has no authority what so ever to strip and any athlete of anything.

How can they do that if the only evidence they have is heresy from other cyclists?

The testimony of the ten (10!) former teammates must have been pretty damning if Lance opted not to challege the USDA. Armstrong and his backers payed off the doctors who were enlisted to test his body fluids. He was using banned substances and he knows it he just got a little to greedy wanting a medal for each day of the week.

If he were innocent, he would fight to the bitter end, not matter what, he has nothing to hide if innocent. His family should stand behind him at every step of fighting. He's smug and arragant, and thought he could get away with it. No innocent person would let someone take all those medal away from them, what does that say to your children to stand up for what you believe in.
