The Grammys

Celebrities Warned ...

Keep Your Genitals Covered!

CBS doesn't want to see a SINGLE celebrity butt crack at the Grammys on Sunday ... and no boobs or genitals either ... this according to a warning the network fired off to all "talent" appearing on the show.

The email -- which surfaced online -- was sent by CBS Standards and Practices to people connected to the celebrities who are expected to appear on camera during the broadcast ... and the network makes it clear, it's not taking any chances with the FCC this year.

"Please be sure that buttocks and female breasts are adequately covered," the letter reads.

"Thong type costumes are problematic. Please avoid exposing bare fleshy under curves of the buttocks and buttock crack."

It goes on ... "Bare sides or under curvature of the breasts is also problematic. Please avoid sheer see-through clothing that could  possibly expose female breast nipples."

"Please be sure the genital region is adequately covered so that there is no visible 'puffy' bare skin exposure. Please avoid commercial identification of actual brand name products on T-shirts."

"Foreign language on wardrobe will need to be cleared. OBSCENITY OR PARTIALLY SEEN OBSCENITY ON WARDROBE IS UNACCEPTABLE FOR BROADCAST. This as well, pertains to audience members that appear on camera.'

But the most shocking part of the letter, CBS does not want talent to wear a lapel pin or any other accessory which contains the name of an organized cause "visibly spelled out."

So, a star can wear a pink ribbon ... as long as it doesn't say "The American Breast Cancer Foundation."

We reached out to CBS -- so far, no word back.

the grammy's have been known recently to take it to a different level. a few yrs back it started out as being the the hip hop show, the bet awards yet again...it went to a level I couldn't relate to, it's back on track, and I personallly love how each entertainer brings to the table their unique individual personalities, I love C&W music, I'm happy to see it's not one grioup. I love how each person can stand out on their own, costumes included.

Well, it's not difficult to figure out that most of the voters are men who think boobs are the best part of the grammys. First of all, they're not boobs; they're breasts. The boobs are the staff at TMZ. Someone should tell American men to get off the internet and stop looking at porn, because you have brainwashed yourselves into believing that all women are just porn for your pleasure. American men have seriously lost their manhood; so many are the product of women who got knocked up and had to raise their sons without a father figure, and the daughters looking to these damaged men in desperation for a father figure themselves. You have all those big fancy universities, but you can't even figure out how to carve out a civilized society. Why do Americans hate each other so much? There have been over 400 gun deaths in the u.s.a. just since the newtown massacre. You so messed up.

Why does it take the Grammys for this rule to happen? I mean, we see this stuff at the grocery store, right???

A "happen-chance" boob shot on TV isn't NEARLY as offensive as being traumatized by the 900lb women who bends over and her boobs come flinging out of her teensy tube top.

I see ass crack everyday, and never sexy. If I have to see it on TV, I'm probably going to compare it to something I can't unsee from work.

Either wear solid colors or rainbow brights with no lettering or logos. We don't want those Brand Named Mofo's suing CBS because they're not getting paid for being promoted for free on live or recorded tv. Greedy bastards. Wear plain colored clothes.

Good for them, they are trying to keep the trash off the runway and stage. They know a bunch of trashy female artists are going to be there and they just love to show off their stuff.

I'm all for setting SOME standards. Some of these girls & guys dress like they are at a strip club. Sorry, there is a time & place for everything. I think it's sad they have to tell grown adults to dress w/some class. I don't want to see your underboob or crack. And I don't want my kids to either. Good for them for this, that's what I think.

However, if we're worried about these things being a bad influence on our young audience we need to filter out the trash as they have an even more negative effect on them than some side boob. Take the Kartrashians for example, or Rihanna. We're so worried about the obvious things that are offensive but never stop to think about these ppl & their actions & they have greater influence on our youth than a curse word or side boob.

Good luck CBS. Some that attend the Grammys will see this as a personal challenge.
