Chris Brown

The Wax Guy Has My Back

2/7/2013 4:30 AM PST BY TMZ STAFF
EXCLUSIVE

020613_neil_cobb_launch
The man who could have been the key to Chris Brown's demise is not entirely backing the District Attorney ... saying it's possible Chris waxed the floors at a Virginia Children's Center as part of his probation even though he never saw it happen.

TMZ spoke with Neil Cobb -- who says his statements to the media were taken out of context when he was quoted as saying, "Chris never helped me do floors at the Tappahannock Children’s Center."

Cobb says Chris never cleaned the floors IN COBB'S PRESENCE ... but it doesn't mean he couldn't have done it some other time.

"He mighta did floors ... but he didn't do it with me," Cobb said ... adding, "I never said the guy didn't do his community service."

We broke the story ... the D.A. claims Brown may have lied about completing all of his community service ... but Brown's lawyer Mark Geragos says the accusations are a load of crap.

Why is a Violent Convicted Felon allowed to work at a Children's Center?

The interviewer asks if he could tell if the floors were done since the the last time he did them and he plainly says, "no they haven't" meaning CB never did the floors. Period.

Never thought CB did the floors. That takes a certain talent and I doubt he has it

While I can't say I'm particularly familiar with various janitorial duties, but I would assume waxing floors is a task that requires some amount of learning and proficiency that I doubt anyone would leave in the hands of an inexperienced celebrity. Whereas picking up litter and emptying trash bins is does no require the above. While he there is always the chance he may have performed the jobs he claims, it's doubtful by rationalization (admittedly, there conjecture is unfortunately present.)

If he is smart he will be continuing his community service while all of this is being contested with the courts. Doing something that is actually being witnessed a d properly signed off on. If he does it will show the courts he is trying to not only meet but exceed the original ordered hours. I don't know if he did or didn't do it tight the fitst time. He obviously

If the man wants to keep his job, obviously he has no choice but to backup the children's center.

Why in the world did the L.A. Court &/or probation office allow Chris to complete his community service out of state? That was stupid.

has anger issues and should be dealing with that and lay low, not picking fights in parking lots and clubs. And his plot of having his girlfriend in court for support is stupid. I hope the judge sees through that.

Would be interesting to ask Chris to describe the waxing machine and procedure in detail (quick, before he gets coached). This guy was pretty clear before that he himself was the only one running that machine, and he certainly would have noticed if the floors were done and he hadn't waxed them. Sounds as though someone has had a little talk with him.

Still having a hard time believing they accept court-ordered cs workers at a children's center, especially somebody who committed a violent crime.

And the fact that people are so fuzzy about CB's presence there, makes me think he never was. He's a "celebrity" they would remember. I doubt any cs worker would be permitted to buff or wax a floor unsupervised.

I volunteer at a place that accepts cs workers, they have to clock in and out and the supervisor has to sign off on their hours.
