Tom Cruise

Sends Tabloids Into

Red Carpet Oblivion

Tom Cruise has an enemies list -- just like Richard Nixon -- but instead of targeting Commies, Cruise is zeroing in on the anti-Scientology folks.

TMZ has learned .... Cruise put mags that have written scathing stories about Suri and/or L. Ron Hubbard's crew on the persona-non-grata list for the premiere of his movie, "Oblivion."

Banned from the red carpet this week -- US Weekly, Life & Style, In Touch and The Hollywood Reporter.

Cruise is particularly pissed at THR, which has written more than 20 unflattering Scientology stories in less than a year. As for the tabs, he's upset that they've been snarking at Suri.

Cruise has sued the publisher of Life & Style and In Touch for reporting that he'd abandoned Suri ... he wants $50 million for defamation.

I, for one, welcome the new Totally Not Into The Cult That Much Anymore Tom Cruise and his amazing cosmetic transformation into what a appears to be a young Pierce Brosnan.

What he says, does or believes doesn't affect me at all anyway personally, physically or mentally.

Fast-forwarding through ads on a recorded weekend program I saw the words 'oblivion' and 'tom cruise' ... went back to see if he had finally acknowledged this is where his career was heading ... but no, just another same-old-same-old movie with the same blah character, just different costumes and scenery. :P

Enough / Enough / Enough - As a movie-goer, I encourage an outright BAN on Tom Cruise films......make a statement Folks ! Vote with your dollar ! He may be a box-office star but he is failing to renounce his own "religious" organization - One that punishes transparency of thinking ie. physically beating it's own members. Through public shame and modern-day brainwashing, Scientology promises its followers immortality in return for a signed contract that lasts 1 billion years. Forcing children + adults to work for little/no pay both domestically and globally, Scientology has amassed billions of $$$ in an asset portfolio of real-estate that allows it to deny all charges in court and tie up the court system with appeals until our government itself has raised a white flag - for example - the IRS giving the Church tax-exempt status. READ the following book ( http://www.lawrencewright.com ) and educate oneself. The leaders of Scientology are using dubious sales/operational procedures to run their 'Church" similar to North Korea. DEMAND accountability and view the FBI investigation & testimony of ex-Scientologists that managed to leave the "Church" here: http://www.tampabay.com/news/scientology/fbi-scientology-investigation-gets-a-fresh-witness-but-hits-a-legal/1270193

Love Tom Cruise, love his movies... Will continue to goto his movies... As far as Scientology having read of former s ie tool gist they fall into two groups.. One that tell horror stories and others who just got disenchanted with it. The bottom line is that people do leave that religion and some seem to want to stay. Being a Christian I have seen people call certain churches as cults. People may make it uncomfortable to leave but the bottom line as you leave friendships, people are bitter that you are leaving but you can leave... Sick of hearing about his personal life from people who have no knowledge of any of it

Omg freedom of speech! Furthermore if you don't like negative press, don't be in a position where it can be garnered.
