MYSTERY SOLVED!!! Just as we suspected, Chris Brown is the artist behind the weird graffiti murals in front of his Hollywood Hills home ... the same renegade artwork that just got him in trouble with the City of L.A..

As we reported, Chris was cited last week for having "unpermitted and excessive signage" outside his home ... after his neighbors complained to their councilman.

We couldn't confirm initially whether Chris was the artist behind the paintings ... until now. The photos were snapped on April 26th, and the graffiti is still there. Which is a problem. Because if Chris doesn't remove the paintings soon, he'll be fined.

In addition to a possible fine, Chris has already been charged $376.32 by the City just to pay for the inspector that was sent to his house. That bill will increase to $1,176 if Chris doesn't pay within 30 days.

Tick, tock ...

HOA rules have got to be a lot more stringent now that these trashy baboons have taken over the city.

Maybe the neighbors wouldn't mind as much if the art was actually pleasing to the eye. Chris's art leaves much to be desired and is very childish.

Yep

The way this guy is acting might be appropriate if he was in his early teens. You know thinking it's cool to have graffiti on the wall outside his house, making the people in the neighborhood he lives in property value go down because they were unlucky enough to move into the neighborhood with the 20 something year old guy who thinks he's 14. Is this nincompoop still on probation? It'd be really nice if this was a violation of his probation. As far as I know when you're on probation you're not supposed to break any laws. It is his property but it is a nuisance to the people that live in the neighborhood. Almost a F-U he's doing to them because that's just the way this a-hole is. Lock him up for a few years. He has to be the most unlikable celebrity ever.

This reminds me of a sayin;
You can take the chump out of the ghetto but you can't take the ghetto out of the chump.

Wow that's terrible. It looks like a chalk drawing a 8yr old does on a sidewalk. I see he uses the term "artist" very loosely in many different ways...
