Trayvon Martin Verdict

I'm Ashamed to Wear U.S. Flag

Says Black Olympic Boxer

7/16/2013 12:30 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

U.S. Olympic boxer Terrell Gausha is so disgusted over the George Zimmerman verdict ... he's vowing to never sport the red, white and blue again.

Gausha -- who boxed in the 2012 London Summer Games -- started wearing the American flag on his boxing trunks after his Olympic run ... but tells TMZ he's done with that now in the wake of Zimmerman's acquittal in the killing of Trayvon Martin.

Terrell adds, "How can I wear my stars and stripes proudly in a country where they make a big deal out of Mike Vick fighting dogs; but not a young innocent black male's life."

Gausha added, "When I represented my country in the Olympics I was proud to wear my flag. I even wore it on my head on the way to the ring. What happened this weekend was a slap in the face."

Gausha has turned pro -- so he's not eligible for the U.S. team in 2016 -- but doesn't sound like he's interested ... telling us he refuses to rep a "nation with so much racism and hatred."

Before making stupid comments and decision, why don't these nobody athletes and celebrities, get the facts. Just because a black kid was killed doesn't mean that the system sucks. In fact hundreds of blacks are killing each other in Chicago, ye where is the moral outrage by the black communityu around the country?????? They foster a more racist environment due to their focusing soley on the isoltaed case involving anyone other than another black. Why not comment on the actual evidence, expecially on the evidence that was not allowed into the trial, Trayvon was not a choir boy, he was thrown out of his high school for being a trouble maker, he was high on drugs the night he was killed ( check the facts- the state's medical tests prove that he had THC in his system) and he was known as a troubkled kid????? Funny how you don't mention any of those things when you jump on your soap box..... Yeah he was not a young innocent kid and he got the benefit at trail of none of those facts being admitted, yet still a jury found him NOT GUILTY. Get your facts straight so you don't show how racist and biased YOU are.

Integrity? To demand that we cir***vent our laws so that you can avenge some guy that got shot while smashing someone's head into the concrete? At least Zimmerman had a good reason - to save his own life.
Now if only we could hear Trayvon Martian side of the story instead of only GZ trying to save his own ass after he initiated and killed a innocent kid walking home alone from the store, not bothering anybody and not committing any crimes WSE that night that warranted GZ to stalk, harassed and followed that boy in the dead of night. --than we could judge more fairly, now couldn't we? Perhaps it was Trayvon trying to save his own life from a creepy guy out being a vigilante with a gun looking for trouble and revenge. Just saying...

If you are ashamed, then feel free to pack your bags & move to another country you think is better Too many people have lost their lives defending our Country just so you have the freedom to voice your opinion. Our country may not be perfect in your eyes, but it's the best and I am thankful to live in this great country.

Young, innocent black men have been killed in this country for 200 years or more. But he only gets irate and indignant over this ONE case that just happens to be in the national headlines? If you want to stand for something, go ahead. But I would guess it is probably a little offensive to all the other black families who have lost their sons and daughters to violence, when he only speaks up about the famous one. If he really cared all that much, it wouldn't have taken this case for him to voice his disgust. There is so much hypocrisy going on and nobody seems to see it.

Why are all the New Black Panty leaders named Shabazz? Isn't azz slang for ass? Anyway, here are a couple of Shabbazzes on Gerlado's show, kicking up a fuss, trampling on the USA flag, calling for murder and mayhem, and this is just on a regular day.

All this Zimmerman trial business is an excuse for their violence. I think this is a test to see if people will back Zimmerman who is clearly innocent and righteous, or if they will back the criminals.

God's favor will not rest on a nation of criminals.

F**k this P.O.S. If you don't like this country and are ashamed of it then get the f**k out!! Zimmerman was tried by a court, in the greatest legal system anywhere in the world, and was found not guilty by 6 jurors who took their jobs seriously. The evidence was not there to support the prosecution. One juror was quoted as saying she had "no doubt" that George feared for his life. Not that she had reasonable doubt, she had NO DOUBT. These people think they can intimidate juries into decisions then when they don't get their way they turn into a bunch of animals.

I wonder if they feel the same way about Sherry West? Don't know who she is? She is a woman who had her 13 month old baby shot in the face by 2 black teenagers. ON PURPOSE! It wasn't an accident. Look her up. It is a horrible and disgusting crime. Where is the outrage over that?

Meanwhile George Zimmerman has to leave his house in a bullet proof vest due to the crazies being stirred up by all of this inflammatory rhetoric over the verdict.

At least they gave George his gun back. I am sure he has it on the concealed carry permit also. We also know that he is a good shot.

These people who think they are cool for stirring up trouble might find that they are stirring up a lot more than they could ever hope to handle.

Trayvon had to learn to chill out the hard way. How about you?
