Randy Travis

Out of Hospital

But Not Going Home Yet

breaking news

Randy Travis' ticker is at least good enough for him to leave the hospital -- he was released today -- but he's not fully out of the woods yet.

The country superstar was sprung from Baylor Heart Hospital in Texas today, and was transferred to a physical therapy facility ... according to hospital officials.

It's a small step forward for Randy -- who's been in bad shape since July 7 ... when he was first hospitalized for cardiomyopathy ... a condition that enlarges and weakens the heart.

He also suffered a stroke while getting treatment.

It's unclear how long Randy will have to undergo physical therapy.

His excessive drinking caused the problems. Alcoholics are stupid and bring it upon themselves.

I'm so happy he is doing better. Where are all the supposed cardiac experts here who were arguing and insisting Randy was doomed and needed a heart transplant? Hmph. Now they've gone silent since being proven wrong. Guess you weren't the experts you thought you were!

The haters posting here, I wish you all nothing but incurable diseases. I'm betting Randy does 2 or 3 weeks of physical rehab before getting to go home. Wishing him all the best!

I have been where you are at Randy. God will deliver you.

When you see the Physical therapists walk into your room with a belt and a walker you are not going to want to work at it.

Hard work and the desire to get healthy, and your belief that the Lord will deliver you will get you there.

Surrender it to God but remember you plant the seed, he will provide the increase.

The lord is not a magic act to provide your every whim. You do the work. let him take care of the results.

Can we lighten up in the negative comments please. I have seen healthy 20 year olds stroke out. I am amazed to see that he is improving. Gods just not quite finished with him yet.

For all you people that think he will be going home and returning to normal in 2-3 weeks, please wake up. You have heard statements from his girlfriend, his family and his doctors, but nothing from Randy. He is not able to thank his fans for the prayers and well wishes. If he was, he would speak for himself.

This is such bull****! Randy Travis is to blame for his condition. Fact: he is a raging alcoholic. Just google alcoholism and endocarditis.
