Drake & The Game

We'll Help Pay for Funerals

After 5 Kids Die In Tragic Ohio Housefire

Drake and The Game are teaming up to help cover funeral costs for 6 people -- including 5 young siblings -- who died in a tragic house fire in Ohio ... even though the rappers didn't know the victims.

The Game got the ball rolling after learning about Anna Angel -- who was working her shift at Burger King when a fire consumed her home while her 5 young children and her boyfriend were trapped inside. There were no survivors.

Game Instagram'd about the tragedy ... saying, "I can deal with a lot of things but people losing their children is something that kills me every time."

The Game -- who recently pledged to donate $1 million dollars to people in need as part of his Robin Hood project -- says he was on the phone with Drake when he read about the woman's loss ... and they each agreed to donate $10,000 to help Anna cover the burial costs.

Drake later posted about the situation ... saying, "What [The Game] is doing will never be forgotten. Honored to be able to help people along side my brother."

In addition to their $20K ... the producers of Game'sTV show, "Marrying the Game" also pitched in $2,500.

As we previously reported, Game recently donated several thousand dollars to help out with another funeral after a 6-year-old girl was shot and killed in front of her home. Snoop also pitched in after learning about Game's contribution.

I never, ever hear of any kardashian family members doing anything on the spur of the moment to help out another human being down on there luck, or as in this case burying a whole family from a tragic fire. Sure the kardasians do have charitys to which they donate to, however charitys differ than tragic events. My personal view is celebs as well as high paid athletes should give back, as it is we the people who assisted in them hitting it big. We buy there records, wear there clothes, perfume ,food, watch there tacky reality shows, buy tickets to there over priced concerts & basket ball/football games, read there books, etc.

This is my simple religion. There is no need for temples; no need for complicated philosophy. Our own brain, our own heart is our temple; the philosophy is kindness.

Let us more and more insist on raising funds of love, of kindness, of understanding, of peace. Money will come if we seek first the Kingdom of God - the rest will be given.

It's awesome to hear The Game & Drake are doing a wonderful act of kindness for a stranger in need. This woman lost all 5 of her babies & her boyfriend.
.
In response to negative comments that all good deeds should go unsaid..... I say a good deed is a good need no matter what. Why shouldn't TMZ write about this good deed? TMZ doesn't hesitate to report on all bad actions celebrities so, so why shouldn't they report on their good deeds as well?
.
Be glad that The Game & Drake are helping a total stranger. Do a random act of kindness for a needy stranger yourself & keep your negative comments to yourself. And that is that!

That's amazing! There is nothing wrong with them making this public. Maybe they want to inspire others to give? It doesn't matter if its anonymous or not, a blessing is a blessing!

A tiffin resident who cares

I live in the Tiffin Ohio community about three miles from where this horrific fire happened. I have seen how bad this fire was and how the community has surrounded Anna Angel in trying to comfort, support her and raise money to help her get through this horrific loss. Anna is known as a hard worker and caring mother with little money to begin with. She has lost EVERYTHING that was important to her-her children, her boyfrined, her home and all of her belongings. Many are donating whatever money they can to help her. It is not about the amount of money, it is about being human and helping someone in their time of need despite personal differences. THANK YOU DRAKE AND THE GAME for being human and caring enough about this poor woman to help her. The community has taken notice of your generosity and it is so appreciated.

I am glad to see them doing something constructive with their money besides buying cars, drinking and drugging and making it "rain" in strip clubs. Keep up the good work.
