Jameis Winston

Alleged Rape Victim:

Cops Warned Me to Back Off

11/20/2013 10:25 AM PST BY TMZ STAFF
breaking news

Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston allegedly did far more than sexually assault a woman ... she says he RAPED her, and cops then warned her that she was living in Winston country and she had better back down if she knew what was good for her.

The alleged victim just went public with the alleged corrupt investigation by the Tallahassee Police Dept., in which she claims she immediately reported the incident back in December to cops, but was later told, Tallahassee was a big football town and that she would be "raked over the coals" and her life "will be made miserable" if she pursued it.

And there's more ... The victim says her lawyer repeatedly tried to obtain blood work and DNA results from the crime lab, but was told if she persisted the whole thing would become a public spectacle.

According to the statement, Winston's roommate witnessed the alleged rape but the cop refused to interview him.

TMZ broke the story about the investigation, and the curious timing ... the cops didn't forward the case to prosecutors for 10 months -- EXACTLY ONE DAY after TMZ began poking around and calling the PD.

I find funny that why would you need a lawyer to obtain blood work. Why would you have a lawyer back then? I never seen a rape victim go to a lawyer before the cops. 10 months ago, Winston wasn't highly as famous as he is now. I guess now that he is up for the Heisman would be a great time to come forward and not fear what she so called feared then. She gave him sex, realized she was just a number, now she wants to capitalize on the DNA. Happens all the time and her story is too cliche.

She was swabbed for DNA evidence. The police did nothing with it...until now. It is Winston's DNA...it was confirmed today. The police tried to cover this up for FSU's reputation...and now it has backfired. It is in the state attorney's hands now.

This is total BS! The police report that this woman gave said that the guy who assaulted her was 5'9 or 5'10. Jameis is 6'4!!! Also, she said the guy had straight hair. Um, Jameis has an afro! Those are two pretty big discrepancies in her story.

But - No one knew Winston was going to be this good, why would they do this BEFORE they found out how good he was.

Something isn't adding up, and as I lived in TLH for 4 years, can tell you is the PD and Leon County Law Enforcement that fubared this up.

Can't understand why they would make this 'threat' before anyone knew Winston was going to be good....

A couple of years ago, in a little vilage in northern Sweden, a 14-year old girl was raped in the school 'restroom' by a schoolmate. When she reported it, she was harssed for a year by the whole village, both in real life and on the Internet, and had to leave her home. She just couldn't have been raped, as the boy was so popular. He wouldn't have to rape to get sex. But then, the guy did rape another schoolmate, and this time only one family in the village swore on his innocense. To check, google 'bjasta valdtakt', and use google translator. This was before Steubenville. There are several ways a young man can make his home town known and famous.

The accuser is Erica Kinsman from Zephyrillis Springs, FL. She was Jameis Winston's hook-up buddy and wannabe girlfriend. Her mother is attorney Patricia Carroll's sister. She was all over Jameis until he warned her off when his "real" girlfriend, a basketball player at Rice University, was coming to town that next weekend in December.

The spurned woman and cried "Rape" even though Jameis was in her apartment along with roommate who dates another FSU player when the incident occurred. Both roommate and the other player signed affidavits exonerating Winston.

When Tallahassee police became involved the woman had second thoughts and tried to misdirect them. Evidence was in Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts that were deleted last week. One photo shows her hugging Jameis at a game!

Tallahassee police knew she was lying and tried to keep her from being branded a foolish liar. Unfortunately, her aunt, attorney Patricia Carroll, had far less consideration.

Some say Aunt Pat personally called it to the attention of TMZ. Who knows? Maybe she wanted a $ cut from Jameis' first NFL contract. We know for sure she's a graduate of Gator Law School.

It's time to drop the charges against Jameis Winston and throw the book at Erica Kinsman for wasting tax dollars and ruining the reputation of a promising young man, all in the name of sex crime that never happened
