Katy Perry SuedKaty Perry Stole Black Horse

Katy Perry
blatantly stole a song from a Christian hip-hop singer and then tarnished it with witchcraft, paganism and black magic ... at least that's the claim in a new lawsuit.

According to the suit -- obtained by TMZ -- Perry's hit song "Dark Horse" is a rip-off of an award-winning Christian gospel song called "Joyful Noise" ... that was released 5 years before Perry's track.

The suit was filed by an artist known as Flame -- along with other singers. They say Perry not only hijacked their religious music ... she also destroyed their reputation in the Christian music world ... because they're now associated with the anti-Christian witchcraft and imagery that appears in the "Dark Horse" music video.

They're suing for damages ... and want Perry to stop using any form of their music ... stat.

So we gotta ask ...

I agree that Flames music was riped off. But, sin saying that, it added the bar of music she took added nothing, more like took away from her song. And anyway as a Christian artist they need to show the world a better more loving peaceful way to deal with people when they have wronged you. We are ambassadors for Jesus, not here to throw a fellow artist under a bus, because they like our music and use part of it. ( your song is much better anyway) they should do something radical, let her know they are aware of the rip of, let it go. Make peace with Katy Perry, and offer to work on lyrics with her. Use this as an opertunity to get her mind from witchcraft. Use it as a ministry opertunity, instead of a wat show the world Christian artists are no different in spirit then anyone else so what's the point of this Jesus fellow. I thought they were pretty cool to.

So what if juicy j rapped the same first line , and even if the beats are similar, the lyrics are different and i bet the people who made the crappy christian song r just jealous of katy perry.

I don't think that they should be suing for damages when it comes to profits of the song because of copyright infringement, Instead they should demand that her song be taken off of all Radios and taken off of all Music Services and every version of the song Destroyed. Nothing Less, Nothing More.

stealing is wrong in every way especially turning a christian song into a satanist one. what i believe is flame should just brush it off. he rocks and he rocks for God so who cares what others do. flames music has a bigger purpose.
