Daniel Craig can make all the suicide threats he wants, but as long as he's drawing breath ... he will be playing 007 -- at least according to his "Spectre" co-star Christoph Waltz.
Craig recently said he'd slash his wrists before he plays James Bond again -- which, of course, has fueled talk of a possible black Bond in the future. But no offense to the likes of Idris Elba ... "Spectre" baddie Christoph thinks Craig is just blowing smoke.
As he left No Name Bar in Hollywood Wednesday night -- C-dub was pretty definitive about who the next Bond will be. Gotta figure the guy has SOME kinda inside info. No?
Gloria Trevi's life story is so absolutely insane it became a movie, which she says brought her to tears -- but the "Mexican Madonna" cracked up when we suggested she perform for Donald Trump.
Trevi survived one of the biggest scandals in the history of music -- after shooting to superstardom in the '90s, she and her bf/manager were accused of running a sex cult for minors. The couple fled to Brazil, and Trevi was eventually arrested there and imprisoned for nearly 5 years while awaiting trial.
Oh, and she managed to get pregnant while behind bars. When it was all said and done ... she was acquitted due to lack of evidence.
Soooo ... now that her biopic "Gloria" is out, and she's reviving her career -- we wondered if she'd consider playing Trump's inauguration.
A group of women -- more than a baker's dozen -- torpedoed the London premiere of Meryl Streep's new movie over women's rights issues ... which is ironic since Streep has been one of their champions.
It's unclear if Streep was on the red carpet yet Wednesday when the protesters laid their bodies on the ground -- showing their outrage for Parliament's decision to cut funding for domestic violence services.
The women -- part of a group called Sisters Uncut with a hashtag that reads #deadwomencantvote -- never said they have a problem with Streep or her movie, "Suffragette." The flick is about a group of women in England who championed the women's right to vote movement.
It's unclear if the protesters have issues with the film, or just used the venue to piss on Parliament.
Mariah Carey is directing a Hallmark movie for the holidays starring her favorite character, Gretchen Weiners from "Mean Girls."
Our Mariah people say she started working on "A Christmas Melody" Tuesday and made herself right at home in the director's chair. We're told Mariah had only one request, her favorite actress from her favorite movie star in the flick. Let's be serious ... she had more than one request.
Lacey Chabert, who played Gretchen Weiners in "Mean Girls" was more than happy to take the lead.
Mariah won't appear in the movie but we're told her music is featured throughout. It's unclear if MiMi tapped into directing legend Brett Ratner for advice.
"Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials" star Dylan O'Brien is getting called to the principal's office -- after he bragged about stealing Native American artifacts from the movie's set, he'll have to answer to 20th Century Fox studio execs.
O'Brien spilled the beans about jacking the stuff a couple weeks ago on "Live with Kelly & Michael" -- and did it in a pretty insensitive way ... admitting they'd been warned to leave any native artifacts they might stumble upon during filming. He said they took stuff anyway, and joked they'd been cursed because several cast members got sick.
TMZ spoke with Roch Hart, who manages Diamond Tail Ranch in Albuquerque -- where the movie was shot -- and he was pissed about O'Brien's comments. He told us he wasn't sure what, if anything, O'Brien and his co-stars really did take -- but said, "If the artifacts are not returned, we will be contacting our attorney."
Hart said he called 20th Century Fox, the film's distributor, on Tuesday to see if it would offer any assistance, and a few hours later he was told Fox would reach out to the cast and crew. Hart says he's been told the studio will find out if anything was taken, and if so ... make it right.
Favreau has mentioned his friendship with the SpaceX and Tesla Motors CEO in the past, saying he based "Iron Man's" Tony Stark on Musk. No word on how they both know Rubin, but there is a Def Jam film in the works.
Just how powerful was this meal? Check their reported net worth stats: Rubin, $250 Million ... Favreau, $60 Million ... and Elon Musk, $13.2 BILLION!
So, who picked up the check? The correct answer is: It doesn't matter.
James Caan wasted no time ... less than 48 hours after he went to an emergency room, he was back at work, and smiling with his co-star Louis Gossett Jr.
TMZ broke the story ... the 75-year-old showed up to a Toronto hospital Tuesday night for a mild chest infection. He was treated and released, but we were told he'd be unable to return to set for a few days. No rest for the wicked.
Caan and LGJ are filming the family comedy "From Here to Infirmity."
Mike Tyson's boxing days are over, but he's proving his fists still have fury ... starring in a new Kung-Fu flick alongside some of the biggest names in martial arts movie history.
The trailer just dropped for "Ip Man 3" ... the follow up to Ip Man 1 and 2 ... and it shows Mike calling punks out to see whose hands are the most lighting fast between a boxer and a Kung-Fu master.
Mike's in some GREAT company ... the movie stars Donnie Yen as Ip Man (The guy that trained Bruce Lee!!) and Sammo Hung, who between them have starred in over 239 movies ... most of which are the flying-kick-to-the-face variety.
Check out the trailer ... you get to see a little vintage Mike workin' the speed bag (he's still got it) but if you wanna see him throw down with the big boys on-screen ... you might need to buy a ticket.
