"Hannah" Creator Sues Mousewitz
Disney made billions from "Hannah Montana," and the dude who says he was the inspiration says he got royally screwed over royalties.
In a lawsuit filed yesterday in federal court, "Hanna" co-creator Michael Poryes claims he's entitled to a percentage of the loot from "Hannah Montana" books, merchandising and movies. Short story -- he didn't get what he wants and he's pissed.
He's suing for close to a million dollars in compensatory damages, plus punitive damages, interest and court costs.
