Pardon the Departure -- Kornheiser Out at 'MNF'
It's a good thing Tony Kornheiser hosts the greatest sports show on the planet -- because he just quit his other job as an announcer on "Monday Night Football."
Kornheiser is stepping down after three years in the booth. Jon Gruden, who coached the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to the Super Bowl XXXVII title, will be taking his place.
Kornheiser, who along with Michael Wilbon hosts "PTI" on ESPN, has a well-documented fear of flying and cited this year's hectic schedule as his reason for leaving.
