'Dallas' Star Larry Hagman "I Got Caught By Cancer"
Larry Hagman says he's been diagnosed with "a very common and treatable form of cancer" -- and plans to fight the disease with the same bad ass attitude as his famous "Dallas" character -- J.R. Ewing.
The 80-year-old actor released a statement Friday -- saying, "As J.R. I could get away with anything -- bribery, blackmail and adultery. But I got caught by cancer."
He adds, "I do want everyone to know that it is a very common and treatable form of cancer. I will be receiving treatment while working on the new Dallas series."
Hagman isn't letting his diagnosis slow him down -- he's set to begin production on the reboot of the 80's classic on Monday -- adding, "As we all know, you can't keep J.R. down!"
