With everyone freaking out about the NFL bounty scandal ... one of the men who was likely targeted doesn't seem to be worried one bit.
TMZ spoke with New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez -- who along with Rob Gronkowski DESTROYED defenses during the 2011 season.
Hernandez was leaving Saddle Ranch on Sunset Blvd. last night when we asked if he would be pissed if he learned the New Orleans Saints had a bounty to knock him out of a game.
Aaron actually seemed flattered by the idea ... and smiled at the thought that a bounty on him might be worth more than one on a Pro Bowl QB.
In case you haven't heard, the NFL is coming down on the Saints for allegedly organizing a bounty program ... in which defensive players would get a cash reward for KO-ing certain NFL stars.
