61-year-old Lynda Carter -- famous for playing "Wonder Woman" on the '70s show -- must really have super powers ... because she's still scorchin' hot.

The former Miss World USA (1972) was out in NYC yesterday when we asked if she still had that mouth-watering red-and-blue costume -- and not only did she say yes ... she said she still puts it on from time to time.
