Lane Kiffin is a puppy hater ... in fact, Lane tells TMZ Sports he hates his adorable little rascals so much, he's including them with the sale of his Manhattan Beach mansion.

The ex-USC football coach-turned-Alabama offensive coordinator vented about his pooches at LAX ... and even blames his wife for wanting to buy the doggies in the first place.

"They're killing me," Lane griped ... "That's the wife though, you know? Buy puppies thinking it's a good idea."
